Agreed. The biggest drawback is the use of so much molded plastic IMO. 3Z Storm Shadow would've been the best one had the chest, arm wraps and leg wraps all been fabric IMO. Not to mention my version of Storm Shadow couldn't even hold his arms at 90degree elbow bend. That said, I've actually aquired the original Sideshow Storm Shadow, gave him the V2 Snake Eyes muscle body with a white, padded HT body suit and he looks much better than the 3Z version now to me. Of course, stock he looks sorta lame b/c he's so thin and the shirt looks very oversized on him. It's crazy though how much all the original Sideshow figures still go for though.
I'd rather them also use more tailored materials but if that would ratchet the figure in the $200+ range, I'm good with how they're doing it thus far.

So far, I'm liking their design and methods in this line and the price - oh, the price. In this day and age when EVERYTHING else is going up in price for any reason at all (often, just because they can), these are still below $200.

The one good thing, if TZ Baroness is in the works, her chest plates and armour will have to be hard plastic so I won't mind that obviously. I wouldn't want Destro's whole upper body to be one hard plastic piece tho. Who knows if they'll even get that far into the line. TZ would be fools not to do The Baroness though. She has many fans without them needing to be well versed on the Joe/Cobra-verse. Also Cobra Commander would do well, I believe. I hope TZ have something in the pipeline as we're nearing almost a year since the last reveal and letting a line go before really giving it a solid chance isn't cool.

It could just be ThreeZero's MO. I mean everytime I think the Walking Dead line is over, they pop out with a few new character POs. I think GoT and Power Rangers are the few 1/6 lines they seem consistently make product for without much pause.

I think the lack of announcement will kill this line before it even starts to pick-up any traction.
G.I.Joe is a line that has many popular characters, and I think they should aim for 4 figures a year ( 1 announcement every 3 months) to keep collectors interested.

At the current rate, we will all be dead before we get any kind of a Joe or Cobra team assembled.
Also, redoing what SS has already done is ridiculous.

Personally, I would love to see a Serpentor. Not because he's the best character, but just because of the complexity of it.

I think if you inquire with TZ customer service team by email to politely vent, it could maybe answer some questions. I'll try that too but a few inquiries would help. In business, one should do the most popular characters to launch a line for max sales. Firefly is up there but so would CCommander, Baroness, Destro etc. Roadblock is great and all but should have been in the third wave. No Flint or Duke? Huge mistake.

I agree, TZ is killing the line by not launching more heavy hitters (or any character for that matter). We should be ten characters in by now. And for pete's sake, get rid of the friggen plastic clothes lol. Anyway, I won't post their email but you can find it on the "contact us" list on the TZ website.

Might be time to rename this thread:

threezero is NOT expanding the 1:6 GI JOE line for 2022.....or 2023! :p

I cashed out. Traded SE and SS to my local shop for other figures. If 3Zero makes a Cobra Commander I will pick it up to pair with the sideshows. But I lost faith in the line.

Grabbed a road block… good figure and great to add to the gang … quality is so so for what we are paying and no stand is a piss of for 250$
