What shape do you prefer? Edged has more space, but curved doesn’t look bad either.

Did rectangle/edged for mine. I'm more used to bases being straight edged/cornered rather than having a curved shape.
Only thing that base needs is a lighted flame effect between their legs. 
Alright here's my Doc after taking my best shot at rooting the hair. It took me awhile to dial in how big to make it, since it seems to vary from shot to shot, but I'm pretty happy with how it's looking. And I used pastel to make the hair a bit more grayish brown near the base, since it didn't look quite right being a pure white.
Pretty happy with how it turned out in the end, and glad I decided to take a risk on the rooted versus sculpted hair. In fact this might just be my favorite custom yet now.
(and sorry I don't do commission work, as I just have way too many other projects I still need to get to)

And if anyone's curious, here's how the head would look on the Part 2 figure. Pretty huge improvement I'd say. Although if I was painting it for Part 2 I'd probably de-emphasize the wrinkles a bit and make the hair a little longer.

Bravo. Hot Toys should be ashamed. Makes me really want to give rooting a go myself but I’m still no lazier than I was yesterday so shouldn’t make that kind of commitment. Would still be nice to give Eleven a go if he’s willing.
