The "Mirror, Mirror" uniforms are just so uniquely cool looking that once you pick up one figure, any others will be difficult to pass on.

Kirk and Uhura are the two that I am most looking forward to but I would have loved including Marlena, as well.

So I'm getting back into Star Trek collecting and reading all the threads here. So Exo6 has not released any TOS yet correct (besides Mirror)? That would be great if I don't have to play catch-up. Also I assume their Facebook page is a good place for updates as well.

Correct on both counts. The only TOS released so far are the Mirror Mirror figures, which are both still available.

Another possible Immediate Purchase for 2023. Looking at one hour sell out this time for this long waited Star Trek collectible:

Christ where is TOS Kirk already?

I'm guessing he's been ready for awhile, but Nanjin has said he wants to hold off on releasing TOS for a little longer unfortunately.

Probably the same for Picard, Riker, LaForge. Almost coming up on a year since we saw those prototypes on Tested, I bet they’ve been perfected and are on standby.

I'm basically waiting patiently on Mr. Nanjin to finish the crew he started with QMX.
Also looking forward to the WOK figures.

They said in the podcast - end of the year. Maybe two TOS characters. They wanted distance from QMx. And yeah, apparently all the sculpts are ready.

Other than ensuring there's a demand due to dwindling supply of the other QMx, is there another reason to have such a long lead time? I'm just getting into this collection (whether or not I stick with it remains to be seen with the daunting expected release schedule) so if there were problems with Qmx beyond overproduction (comparatively), availability and minimal output over a long time, I'm unaware.

Well that and the fact they never continued past the one Winchester. Forget the Trinity. They couldn't even do the two brothers! Apologies to Nanjin if he was involved in that, but to me THAT was Qmx's worst sin.

I’m torn on getting a new TOS Spock as the second QMx Spock I have still holds up. I’m thinking there were subtle differences between QMx’s first and second releases of the character as my basic Spock seemed somewhat different than online reviews of the Spock with the Vulcan harp. But I may be off base with that.

I’m holding on to QMx Kirk and Spock, and ditching the rest. Will still have to get EXO-6 K&S because the uniforms will be different.

And that's exactly why Nanjin's been holding off for so long on releasing TOS figures, because he keeps hearing people say they have no interest in buying new versions of the QMX characters.

Don't get me wrong. I'm glad Mr. Nanjin will re-release TOS figures. I just hope that Chekov and Uhura will "blend in" with the 5 that I already have.
