It's amazing how they got the eyes -- and those are poseable?
that's the part I'm mostly worried about.
If you see the proto Joker and the actual product, somehow the eyelids (upper and lower) got more thick/bulky in the actual product, and there are a noticable gap between the lids and eyeballs.
In Joker, it doesn't really noticable as the black make up kinda covers the whole thing, but in Aragorn, I think it will be noticable.

I hope they managed to deal with that and deliver the actual product very very close to the proto. If they do, the unboxing day will be epic.

I think the glass eyes is what makes these eyeballs so lifelike and good (at least thats what I thought Inart does different with the eyes compared to other companies)

I don't actually think it's hyperbole to say that if the production figure is 80% as good as this proto, it might still be the best 1/6 figure I've ever seen. I keep coming back to this thread and I'm astonished all over again every time I see the pictures.

(I mean, of course I"m hoping for 100%, but I've been in the collecting game long enough to expect a little drop off from proto to production. But even factoring that in ... it would still be a remarkable figure.)

Here’s how the belt buckle is inaccurate for anyone who’s blissfully unaware at the moment.

ACI and Asmus Helm’s Deep Aragorn did it right and it’s a simple fix so I fully expect it to be rectified for the production piece or maybe even for a display proto we’ll see at a show in the future.

Didn’t realize the eyes were movable. Have there been any released human sculpts with pers/movable eyes that look good?

From the released figures I’ve seen, I think the biggest draw back is always the eyes. Asmus GtG, HT Indiana Jones (this one is pretty old I guess) but they both suffer bc of it. Not sure of any others off the top?
