Completely agree! Final proto for Aragorn will be deciding factor whether I get or not. Only really want Gandalf but if their Legolas sculpt is good, I might have to get to go with my deluxe Asmus Legolas with the sick Helms Deep base.

Here’s a video from the same guy. (Not a fan of DC but InArt are nailing it with Joker and Batman too - insane sculpts!)

InArt’s LOTR line so far seems to have been a hit for them, so where next with the line after Legolas and the Nazgul? Let’s say they stick with four figures a year, then personally my choice for the next wave would be Galadriel, Gimli, Saruman, and a Frodo/Gollum 2-pack.

Speculation is always fun and I think everybody has their own favourites. So here is mine
1. Boromir
2. Sauron
3. Frodo/Sam 2pack
4. Gimli (but Asmus one is nice, so it isn't as high priority to me as it could be)

I can’t see them going deep enough to get to Galadriel and Saruman. I feel they will probably end up making Boromir if the Aragorn sales are great, and they might make some hobbits to get more use out of the Harry Potter bodies when they make them. I’d love an InArt Galadriel especially but I’m not sure I can see that coming to fruition. They have too many other licenses to get to.

As someone here or maybe in another thread said, the main Trio is Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli and then Gandalf ofc cant be missed either, these most likely sell much better than the Hobbits do/would.
That's definitely the main trio for me, but one can also argue that Frodo, Sam and Gollum/Smeagol are the actual main trio, while Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli are the coolest trio. If you wanted a fourth, Gandalf fits in both camps.

I would rather have a Saruman than Gandalf the White. Not the biggest fan of same character in different versions, one Gandalf (grey) is plenty for my likings.

My wish list and what I think is likely differs entirely.

My top 4 wish list is
Sauron
Lurtz
Aragorn Black Gate
Saruman

The 4 I think are most likely given previous comments that they'll probably make the entire Fellowship.

Gimli
Frodo
Sam
Boromir (probably number 5 on my wish list because we need an accurate rooted sculpt)

You can only have Gandalf the Grey fighting Saruman the White!

As long as they are spread out enough for my wallet I will take any and all LOTR figures they make. If we are going purely on wish list Frodo and Sam are at the top and the the rest of the Fellowship. If the Harry Potter bodies can be used for hobbits then maybe there is a chance we get at least Frodo. After the Fellowship I would love to see Eowyn, Theoden, Faramir. . . Orcs, Uruk Hai and goblins would be great but with how InArt does not like to have any joints showing they maybe be more difficult (and expensive) to pull off. Asmus has been trying to figure out how to do a Uruk Hai figure for years and still has not come up with what they feel is a sellable solution.

Gandalf
Aragorn
Legolas
Ringwraith

Based on the above for the year I’d go with,

Gimli
Boromir
Frodo
Saruman

In that order. If it continued past that,

Prologue Elven warrior (like the armor on these guys)
Moria Orc
Sauron
Lurtz/Uruk-Hai Scout (interchangeable heads/parts)

My main wants are always going to be Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf. After that:
  1. Frodo & Sam
  2. Boromir
  3. Saruman
Any one else is a bonus
Pretty damn good shortlist - gotta agree with your choices Gipetto

Your wishlist is just plain awesome Lizard Lips!
Black Gate Aragorn is SUCH a look and Sauron/Lurtz would be insane.

I've heard they only have rights to Fellowship of the Ring characters? Is that true?
If true, Black Gate Aragorn isn't an option - sadly.

most likely IMO:
- Gimli
- Boromir
- Frodo
- Saruman

I'd happilly pick all of these up - Boromir and Saruman in particular.

From FOTR I would love for them to make (aside from the above)
- Elrond: Council of Elrond version
- Galadriel
- Sauron
- Lurtz
- Gil-Galad (about as likely as me going on a date with Henry Cavill and winning the lottery on the same day)

None of which I think are particularly likely - Galadriel as a potential dark horse choice though.
