Knowing we won't get any PT ships this year, I might put some funds aside for the X-Wing.

I’m surprised they didn’t show the TIE Bomber. Probably next year then, which is okay. I’d rather these be spaced out.

They’ve been doing 1/24 fighters but the B-Wing may be 1/32 since SFSSM said it’d be based on the ILM. Wonder if MYC will offer it in two sizes like the AT-ST.

Sorry no LAAT @SOU7567 - I wanted one too!

Definitely some great vehicles coming. I already have the eFX X-wing and a SS B-wing, so I'm lucky there. No question it will be hard to deny that Falcon, but I will continue my wait for my personal grail - Slave 1.

Congrats on picking up the AT-AT, it's a beauty. I've not delved into the ships due to space, cost, etc. but I'm definitely keeping an eye on that falcon.

Hybrid and Classic are still available.

People need to start buying them so I'm not temped with them still being available.

I suppose they will not make Slave 1. Lego did and had to name it Bounty Hunter Ship, as Slave 1 would trigger some activists to protest. It triggered fans of Star Wars, naming it that way. If I was issuing new model, to avoid that, I would not make the Slave 1 ship at all and concentrate on ships with safer names (at least till the word Imperial gets into scopes of activists).

Even if they have to change the name, it's still slave 1 to many people. It is such a popular and iconic ship I think it would be a missed opportunity not to make it

I hope the Falcon can be mounted vertically/angled so that it takes up less space. I know I can't fit a flat sitting MF in the collection when I'm already having trouble figuring out where to put the AT-AT, AT-ST, and Scout Trooper with Speederbike, let alone all the other statues/models I want to get this year.

It's ALWAYS going to be the Slave 1 to most people - regardless of what the Lucasfilm snowflakes say.

The point is moot because these aren’t licensed and they’re sold under thinly veiled code names anyway like “Model Y” or “Model T”.

As just “a fan making stuff for fans” operation, they can do whatever they want as long as they don’t make large quantities.

I think they will make a Slave I eventually; there’s a lot of demand. But their model line is still new. They’re working with other people who develop the models who are all working on multiple projects so it takes time.

And I don’t remember seeing anyone really upset about the original name. They seem to have just changed it preemptively. I care about doing the right thing but the name change felt like an unnecessary move that generated more unneeded controversy than the name itself.
