:impatient:

Will he fit in a detolf? He's huge but maybe not too tall.

He's wide but I don't think he's exceptionally tall. The specs say 35.5cm (14"), and because he has big feet he doesn't need a stand. A Detolf shelf is about 15.5" high.

I've had it planned for a long time to have him in the middle of the shelf, with Harley, Deadshot, Katana and Flag at each corner.

Few more images I found on FB. He's a heavy figure!

Didn't expect him to weigh that much.

Ikea shelves used to have a weight limit of 13 lbs / 5.896 kgs, but since they thinned the glass at some point the limit has been reduced to 8 lbs / 3.628 kgs.

I planned to have King Shark in the middle surrounded by a figure at each corner. As it happens those figures weigh 1.742 kgs, add 1.897 for the King it's close to the lower limit at 3.64 kgs.

Unless HT wants to release the rest of the Squad, there’s only one real way to display this guy: at the mercy of Adam West and his Bat Shark Repellant.

That was one of my early ideas for him since '66 Batman and Robin have always been lonely figures. That's going to change when Mars starts releasing their '66 collection.

I have Harley, Deadshot, Ganghood/Eleven Rick Flag and SooSoo Katana, but this isn't a collection I want to continue. King Shark was one of my last orders before I started changing direction. He'll be 'free' from Sideshow with Reward Points, but I'd have probably kept him anyway because he's unique, and would also work with the '66 figures (even though there were no creatures as such in that universe).

I've swapped two shelves and put the Squad at the bottom for safety. I might be able to put one of the Alert Line hyenas spanned across the front two stands - because they're heavy too.

Has anyone ever had their Detolf glass shelves break due to weight from 1/6 Hot Toys figures? I've seen some holding Sideshow 1/4 scale premium format statues.
