Maybe it's just me but I think the Queen Studios 1/4 version has a stronger likeness, not to say the 1/6 version is terrible but from the very start something seemed off with the eyes, like they're too close together or something, still better than any of Hot Toys attempts.

From this picture I agree, but that’s not what collectors received..

Agreed. I love this figure and can't edit to get mine. I'm so glad I stumbled across this thread letting me know about it.

But those eyes. Either they're sculpted too close to the centre, or the eyeballs are too small to make the positioning work. But they definitely look too close together, and too far sunk into the head.

Like I said though, can't wait to get mine.

Thank you guys for the support! All I can say is, I haven’t seen a photo yet that can show how good this look in hands.
Once you get it in hands you’ll understand my meaning.
If, when I get this, my outdoor pictures don’t convince people this is a grail, those people should exit the hobby. Your video was excellent so if people aren’t convinced now, they never will be.

Has anyone received the dreaded shipping invoice from Toys Wonderland yet? I had to order it from there as I had store credit and it’s the only place I could find it, but the final shipping price is a deal-breaker. The original quote was $105 to the UK.
Augh no way? I'm waiting for mine in UK too. That's not ideal at all.

This figure needs to get mainstream press so HT can quake in their boots lol

But seriously I don’t see any Inart V HT at all, at least not yet. HT have positioned themselves as a mid-tier company. When they started getting press they were generally considered high end and the best of the best but I think a clear reality has set in, in their Disney phase. Inart have been quite clear in their aims to be the very best high end 1/6 and I really don’t see HT challenging them, not even when they increase the PERS and change LED to usb.

Still waiting to see how the DX19 looks with these Joker's. I don't imagine I'll keep mine long term but will be a good enough place holder until InArt release their Bale figures.

I have zero interest in this line but I can’t deny that it’s freaking awesome and good.

I think if HT figures would have stayed in the 200-250 $ range, it would have been perfect.
There is room for Premium figures and super premium figures.
Different budgets, different targets, different market.
either they go upmarket to compete directly Inart, or they lower their price.

Does anyone know if the deluxe rooted set comes with a brown shipper box? If so, does anyone have photos? The packaging is such an odd shape that I'm wondering how it'll be shipped without getting banged up.
