JND Studios - Justice League Superman

His eyes :S

Main issue with this statue is his eyes. In general eyes make likeness in any piece or art,when eyes are off everything looks off. Cavill has big eyes with a big eyeballs and eyelashes,bigger than average man. Gives him kinda cartoony and innocent look,which I love so much. However that statue doesn't have it. I think infinity studios bust captured his eyes best. Maybe jnd truly used jossice league as a reference lol

Sadly I think I will pass on this one and stick with the hope of a very decent if not better likeness w Queen

Disappointed that the bust isn’t available separately personally. Would have been a way to lower the entry level to a JND piece, just like Prime 1 did with their Joker 1/3rd bust.

I have never paid 4K for the collectable and I don't know if I should pay such a money for something I don't love for 100% I like it but I'm not crazy about it. Have around 30 1/6 figures on PO already so money needs to be spent wisely. Even if Queen throws out 1/4 blue one to go with their nightmare Batman I'd be happy. I truly love their Cavill sculpt.

Well, my best friend who hasn’t been onboard for any of the previous JND pieces so far said I need to get this one (with the bust option no less!), so I placed an order Unfortunately, by the time she convinced me that it was worth it for my collection, the payment plan option was "out of stock" (not sure how or why that should even happen), so I'll be slapped with a huge bill about a year form now

Probably won't get another JND piece unless they actually do Reeve Superman like Kojun is hoping for.

I don't understand why there is separate stock for the different payment options. It doesn't make sense to me. If anything you would think payment plans would be preferable even to JND since they're getting money in each month from the ppl who ordered rather than waiting for that chunk of change to come in later in the year.

Why does he have Michael Fassbender’s eyes

I feel like this suit needs mixed media to look correct. He’s no where near this cut up looking in the movie.

There are definitely some differences in the muscles along with the color/texturing of the suit. The black shading is really excessive. JND took liberties for sure on this piece. Other then that if you don’t care about accuracy and like the portrait then this is an excellent statue.

Yeah the suit doesn’t look good.

Lol I never noticed how distinct the peepee flap is

Had the blue version with the additional bust/headsculpt in my cart for the longest time but I couldn't bring myself to check out, even with my 200 rewards points. I already had my heart set on PO'ing this piece and I was hyped with the teasers and the reveal video. The JND TDK Joker statue was a must buy for me no matter what which i bought with no hesitation. I wanted to feel this way about this Cavill Superman since Superman is my #1 Favorite comic superhero and I love Henry Cavill as Superman(2nd to Christopher Reeve's Superman) but for some reason I'm not feeling this statue. Not sure what it is. Maybe it's the Price, maybe it's the design of the sculpted Superman suit instead of mixed media or maybe its because Kojun mentioned Christopher Reeve's Superman and I'm holding out hope that was a teaser for a future release from JND. Or maybe it's all of those reasons together... Regardless, I decided to pass. Sucks though because I've saved up enough $ to pay for this statue in full ever since JND teased it months ago. Usually I'm impulsive and would say screw it and just buy the damn thing but I couldn't do it this time around. I may regret it in the future but it is what it is. Now I'm really hoping, and I'm confident it will happen, JND will do a 1/3 Christopher Reeve's Superman which I WILL purchase no matter what, even if it's as crappy as Sideshow's premium format version(which I own) but I'm sure it'll be ridiculously next level. We shall see.

Thanks! I agree. I showed her all the current statue offerings from Sideshow’s MoS PF that I used to own, both Prime1 pieces and the black QS one. After looking at all of them and even me saying maybe I shouldn’t buy it, she she still told me “nope, you need to get the new one. It’s a forever kind of piece.”

And I went for the blue bust to match with the blue statue, instead of the black. My OCD wouldn’t like it being a different color than statue.

Thankful that my boss gave me a raise two days ago

Pre-ordered the single version, blue and red suit. Would have loved the other sculpt but it's just too much, got slight regret I didn't go for the black suit now also.

But absolutely shocked at the price, even with global economy etc. for such a barebones statue this really should have been under 2k. As mentioned before, The Batman and Batman come with two sculpts and cost less than this. Poor form from JND.

As for the statue I couldn't miss up on it, the presence looks phenomenal, sculpt is almost there just needs so minor changes.

Congrats to those who ordered. I passed due to the price, which I thought was outrageous.

I love JND, but I can't get on board with that price. The Bale bust came with the Batman statue free of charge, yet here they charge an extra $800 for it, and the statue itself is also more expensive. I don't get it.

I like the piece, even with the flaws. It's still great, but at these prices I gotta be very selective. Gotta save for Bane lol.

I tried photoshopping it a bit but I probably don't know his face as well as others here so I don't know if this feels closer or not

Yikes, this doesn't look good at all. He looks haggard and tired, and the body isn't accurate for Cavill's physique either.

Gotta wonder what they were thinking when they designed this. Superman was at his most powerful and confident in Justice League and this doesn't reflect that at all.
