According to the specs there are lights in the dash:

Cabin controls with LED light up function including dashboard, Time Circuits Display, overhead panels, flux capacitor, and system display

Is it me or 9 kg for the entire product + packaging seems very light?


Compared to the 89 Batmobile and its 22 kg.

The first Delorean was the same weight according to the SS product page.

Obviously HT took this line to heart:
“He's in a '46 Ford, we're in a Delorean. He'd rip through us like we were tin foil."

First delorean was definitely lighter than the 89 car and much smaller box, I have both. P2 looks great Im super happy they fixed the wheels.

At first glance.. Great Scott! They fixed the hover converted wheels. Amazing!


Also are we expecting a Blogger pics release with this? and is it me or the packaging Delorean is a pic of the old version lmao.

I can’t believe HT actually amended the wheel mechanism. I don’t want to give great praise for simply making the thing the way it should have been all along but I am very glad that they’ve surprised me and put in the effort.
I would have been pretty disappointed every time I glanced at this thing on the shelf had the wheels not been corrected.

Now- time for a BTTF 2 Doc and Marty 2.0! I’ve resisted paying the obscene secondary market prices under the expectation that HT would announce a rerelease in conjunction with the DeLorean or that a 3P would jump on the revived demand for those iterations of the characters.

I think the thing is HT lack of consistency and I put that down to creating too much work for themselves. I never thought I would see the day they would release a corrected Delorean over a poor Batman Begins figure.

My prediction is they are going to loose the global license for Warner/DC to Inart.

So is that base adjustable at all, or are we just locked into that one flying position? Kinda hard to make out how it works from the photos. I'd rather have the car flying level myself, so might have to find another way to support it...

The new wheel design looks a lot better. I was contemplating cancelling my PO, but I'm happy to keep it now. I just wonder if there's a way to motorize it.

I think the tilt sells it a lot more so Im fine if it was stuck like that

If it isn't, any half-decent person that does 3D printing should be able to knock up some relatively cheap struts for it.

I think the cost of shipping for the Delorean is around $250 USD or so for those wondering if ordered online with no free shipping.

It is what it is. Always good to know in advance.

SS has my shipping as $34.67

I assume as has special bulk shipping that keeps costs low, but those who ordered overseas like me, it's about 250 to the usa.

Maybe the 9kg weight is when the DeLorean is hovering?

This is great. Wheels look a lot better and improved interior lighting all with usb connected power.

So glad I pre-ordered using up all my points !!!

All the money for a new Doc sculpt must have gone into fixing the DeLorean wheels instead. Lol
