Please fix the wheels pleasee :( they are treating this bttf license like they dont even want it

If I thought they were going to be perfect this I wouldn’t have bothered. I’m thrilled to not only get the car I’ve wanted for YEARS but one which can convert to my favourite of the trilogy (it’s nostalgia ok? Leave me alone ;)

Yeah I never expected for a second that they were going to improve the wheels on this.
Then its not getting displayed in flight mode which is the whole beauty of the Delorean from part 2. But then if I cant have it like that then maybe I wont get it..

Maybe Ill just get the first one for the $2000 and ******* be done with it 😫

Bumping this thread….

Looks
like the wheels have been fixed judging by the photo shared by hot toys today…. Heard the release date will be moved forward to January 2023!

super stoked for this!

Hot Toys Back to the Future 2 DeLorean Time Machine 1:6 scale collection will start shipping in early January 2023. The angle is extreme but it looks like they changed the mechanism for the wheel, bringing it up just a bit compared to the prototype. Before the wheel was well below the bottom line of the car (and inaccurate) but it's now higher and a bit more closer to the body.

You can see the black plastic holding the wheel is also now a different design.

Soo much better. The wheels on the prototype made it look like a cheap toy it was not worth putting in flight mode before.

I'm asking myself.
If I had known this would come out 8years later, would I still buy the first Delorean back in 2014?
Probably....
