Definitely a case of the thinner the limbs the greater the risk of tearing. Maybe it has happened but I can't say I've ever seen anyone report a torn seamless body or arm on 2019 Hellboy, a Thanos or a Hulk. I imagine She-Hulk here will fall somewhere in -between them and Gamora, Wonder Woman, etc.
Thanos and Hulk aren't rubber though (more of a thick, vinyl shell around an exo-skeleton), so they're in a different category. But 2019 Hellboy, the old Hellboy, Predator Dutch and Chris Redfield are examples of HT figures with thicker rubber arms. I have the last 3 and they’re still in good shape. Of course they’re all in museum poses.

Price isn't unexpected and maybe even "not bad" considering they can't really reuse the body for anyone except her. Wasn't sure I'd be tempted by this but it's a great translation of the sometimes-inconsistent CGI face.

$300 is my upper limit for any figure, but even if she’s light on accessories, the sculpt is great, the body is brand new, she’s appropriately tall, and I’ve needed a She-Hulk on my shelf for years.

They’ll definitely reuse her body for the inevitable variants and future appearances, but even her default show appearance is pretty comic-accurate for my tastes.

Now to get Leapfrog revealed…

I was thinking “275-285ish”, as that seems to be the standard price for a Hot Toy now. Seeing that “Jennifer Thee Stallion” has a unique body (ody-ody), it makes sense.

So when we say “It’s gonna go to the Bargain Bin”, I say… E442C778-9272-4374-A960-22C01814A971.gif
It’s bad enough these days a sixth scale figure is $300, sneakers are $150 and a Chicken Sandwich combo is $20. I say “Use those coupons! Use those discounts!”. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I would be more gung ho on a PO if I didn't have the slightest feeling that HT could pull a Dark Side Anakin and spring a Deluxe on us. I love Shulkie, but Luke did her no favors designing that getup (Matt as well).

I'd say it's about time we get swappable limbs for stuff like this, but with the costume in this instance, even that would have been tough here.
Would be nice but what would HT charge for something like this, would be entering Inart prices.

Hell, if they need to cut budget costs if they decide to do a season 2, they could probably use this for stop motion animation rather than the CGI model... :rotfl And it would probably look better.
Love it awesome idea

True but if one knows & accepts their limitations going in they'll last just fine. It's the people that don't heed the warnings (or are unaware of the issue) and bend away excessively at the shoulders, elbows (and knees for that matter) that end up with tears. She-Hulk's arms will be thicker than Gamora's so that should help a bit, but her arms and legs don't look substantially thicker than Wonder Woman's so it's still pose at your own risk.
True, but with TBLeague making seamless bodies, why are hot toys using their own cheap trash? Why can’t hot toys use TBLeague bodies for their seamless stuff? I’ve had a few of my TBLeague stuff sitting down for months and they are fine, if they were hot toys seamless bodies they would be falling apart.

I was hoping K.E.V.I.N. would be included once the preorder listings went up for $300.

Hopefully Hot Toys will include that accessory down the road.

It would not be unprecedented for Hot Toys to do so - I believe with one or two of the Rey figures (Star Wars sequels), the light sabers were not revealed in the initial photos, until a few weeks after the theatrical movie release.

Just preordered at Timewalker. I haven't had any cracking issues with my WW figures yet so I'm hopeful the same will apply to this. And I've still been able to get some nice museum poses out of those despite the limited articulation, so it doesn't have to be just some stiff looking mannequin on your shelf.
