1/6 Hot Toys Batman & Batmobile - Batman Begins

And the charge hit today. Still no pics. This is wild. Meanwhile Hot Toys posted blogger pics for Dr Strange in Iron Man armor a few hours ago.

Instructions to tide you over in the mean time. Just got added to Sideshow

The instructions have pics of the original cowl, feeling less likely it got upgraded. Still hoping its been changed though

Yeah I don’t think this is upgraded. Looks like it’ll be on a bigger body with a new Bruce Wayne sculpt.

Not bothering to release blogger pics just confirms what utter contempt Hot Toys have for DC collectors. If I thought for a second InArt would make the Begins suit I'd skip this release.

I know there are more important things to worry about but seeing that She Hulk figure this morning really annoyed me. Daredevil will be coming to. Two figures from that trash show and still no Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman.

Seeing that instruction sheet is a real downer for this given that it probably means nothing has changed since the proto.

Also found it funny that they tell you not to use the boots with any other figures b/c it will somehow damage other figures? That’s weird

So, my last two preorders are a total disaster.

I put DX12 Boots on a Begins figure and the suit material reacted with the boots and caused them to literally weep flowing tears of oil, even months after removing them the boots would still weep oil where they were in contact with the calves of the suit, even after being wiped clean. There's some strange alchemy in Hot Toys rubber Begins suits.

Done the exact same thing with one of mine, suit started shrivelling up where the boots had been too-ended up binning the bottom half of the suit

oh wow that interesting! and weird! guess there's actual reason for it in the instructions after all

I used an extra pair of DX12 boots on Begins Batman and had that reaction, so I used a knock-off 3rd party hard plastic version and no leaking in 5+ years since. I did have to trim the rubber undersuit slightly at the calves to allow the boots to fit.
Also, I used ankle extenders since the short legs always bothered me.

Question for anyone who got the charging soon email, did it explicitly say it was coming into their warehouse soon like usual or did it just say it was charging?

Nice box art choice. Shame if it's the same old figure.

I remember seeing that poster for the first time being so excited for the movie. I do not have the same feeling about this figure

It feels like a conspiracy, this already hit toys buying agent but no blogger pics…

Save yourself the embarrassment Hot Toys and keep the blogger pictures to yourself if nothing changed. Re-releasing an 11 year old figure is just laughable and a pure ****** thing to do.

This is especially true when it’s becoming available on the same day as the Batman forever figure which is all new and costs the same.
