A figure I’ll never buy, and didn’t like the show, but the figure looks awesome. They killed it with the headsculpt.

This right here. Congrats to those that wanted this because it turned out really well done.

Those rubber limbs though. Not built to last this one, but I can understand HT is kind of up against a wall with this one.

I'd say it's about time we get swappable limbs for stuff like this, but with the costume in this instance, even that would have been tough here.

She needs an angry headsculpt but I like it. Probably could get something close if you have her head tilted down and eyes stare upward would make it look like a menacing smile.

I'm all for female heroes, but hot toys is going to learn a tough lesson beteeen the captain marvels, shuri, and now this. I think black widow and scarlet witch have a broader (pun) appeal because of the attractive actresses. Even the black widows are being discounted now.

I would be cool with a cw scarlet witch 2.0 and mantis, maybe a 2.0 of IM2 black widow.

Can you put her in the twerk pose is what I’m wondering
Never watched the show but enough clips they should have given her a mini bar and cocktails. Also when the arms bend enough looks like the crushed rubber effect.

False equivalent measuring HT SW to HT Marvel. Don’t go down that slippery slope bro. HT SW is run by an insane algorithm that spits out all manner of characters. HT Marvel in the other hand is strictly led by the dollars imo.

I knew this was coming, and I have no problem with it existing, but since I haven't POed a single figure since the new MKIII, and we just went through a 2-week "drought" (no, a Clone repaint doesn't count), I was expecting something... more. It's just that I have the habit of POing a new figure when the New Year enters, and nothing clicks, so between InArt not putting up their Paul and scaling back, plus HT's choices as of late, I am getting rather anxious. I'd consider a Manletmor at this point...

Still, my bickering aside, it looks nice, especially next to Hulk. I thank the Heavens I'm not much of a Hulk fan because I'd need to shell out 400$+ on figures with dangerous rubber. All I have is an Endgame Thanos from that big scale, and his rubber arms still terrify me. I hope they've improved their materials, for this figure's sake and for whatever will follow. Anyway, at least they're crossing off characters from their slate, even though they're still way behind schedule.

Boy Hot Toys sure are boring as hell this year. I haven't bought a HT figure since Lando, meanwhile I have nearly 10 EXO-6 figures.

They can't even get a bloody Mace Windu figure out.

That was inevitable, as Phase 4 has been utterly underwhelming and filled with boring designs. Since this is the SH thread, I've always thought the show's outfit was too basic for cape. It looks like a cyclist's outfit. It's pretty accurate to the source, but turning it from a leotard to that, makes it less larger than life. Personally speaking I'd have dropped the sleeves and added pants, gloves, a belt or something, like the more recent designs:

Granted, they have to make more toys so she'll get another outfit and another HT (probably once Cap 4 comes out since it's shaping up to be a Cap/Hulk movie), but even if I was a Shulkie fan and wanted an HT, I'd have waited for a better look.

The other thing is that all the cool designs aren't getting made either. Where's Mr. Knight? Defender & Supreme Stranges? MoM gave us a chance at a Stewart Xavier and the 90s hoverchair, and nothing yet. Even Manletmor, my dislike towards the changes aside, would make for a great figure. The crown, the cape, a nice seamless body, all the gold too; he'd stand out on a shelf. Layla is too obscure to sell in this price point, but she'd make a nice figure too. Instead we got Scarlet Witch: Downgraded WandaVision Costume Edition, Twig Panther, Thena and Gilgamesh (from The Eternals), Moon "We Didn't Put Any Effort Into This" Knight, and so on. The most exciting HT figure from this year for me (aside from the MKIII I already POed) was the Black Panther re-issue, and I passed on it because I figured I'd have to make room for the MoM Stranges, InArt's Paul, Mr. Knight, and now I'm kicking my head because I'd have paid off half of it by now. Zombie Strange was extremelly cool but I couldn't justify the price.

They're hit with too much, and they're making weird choices. Imagine letting the AOTC anniversary pass without putting a Mace up for PO. Imagine wasting the chance at a Mummy Moon Knight DX with a Khonshu statue diorama and proper soft goods, and instead giving us that oversized Hasbro. They're both cutting corners and are overworked. Let's hope the rumours that the next Phases will scale down are true, and we're back to a more steady pace.

Cool.

I'll probably get this, as I more or less liked the show, but it did feel kind of empty sometimes.

Ending was truly silly though.

Now where's the Ms Marvel? I liked that show quite a bit more, even with the lack of developed antagonist/s.

Looks pretty good as far as figures go but not sure I’d want one. Surprised they went fully seamless but yea those joints are gonna eventually crack and split if kept in a bent arm pose for too long.

Daredevil looks to have a smirk too from that slight teaser

I like that body.

The show is probably the worst thing MCU has done but I kind of want the figure.
