To give us a small boost of dopamine, of course.

Jokes aside, whilst company timeframes almost never translate to reality, they’re “behind schedule” on showing us a couple figures already, so it’s a little surprising to me that they haven’t followed up with any teases whatsoever to drive hype for literally anything they’re working on
Could be a simple case of the marketing team being a bit overeager and making early announcements too fast too soon, after which reality sets in and the R&D and production teams give push back since they can't handle that amount of figures yet.
If anything, InArt not putting up too many pre-orders so quickly before releasing anything is a very good sign IMO, as it (hopefully) shows they want to ensure they can meet their promised quality standards.

Cause if they show something before it’s ready, like this figure, it doesn’t go well.

This is the hobby of delays, I’ve stopped waiting or being excited for anything. When they come they come and I either buy it or I don’t.

So you’re both saying that all of the sudden the team has learned their lesson and won’t show anything until it’s actually in its final stages after constant communication problems, which has so far been their only precedent, and it’s silly to expect additional promotion to capitalise off of what has already been shown (whether they were shown too early or not) to, at the very least, regain consumer trust or clear up any original misconceptions. Sorry, but no way. While I would agree this approach is objectively better, I don’t believe they are really changing their approach by too much. And that’s why I’m surprised they haven’t shown anything more since Bangkok.

This really went from “it’s ridiculous this company can’t at least show HD photos” to “they will only show off their work when they’re absolutely certain it’s ready” real fast LOL.

Sadly, it usually does.

If you've spent much time in the customs forum you know what I mean.
Exactly. Too many witches spoil the brew. Which is why I only work one-on-one with an artist when doing custom projects. Most people don’t really have the eye they think they do, and they see only what their mind tells them to see.

I know it's not necessarily the place for this (and I know a lot of people are gonna see the notification and click), but thanks to a great collector on these forums I was able to get my most wanted figure: an original, brand new special edition ACI Aragorn. And yes, I took him right out of the packaging. Who needs InArt haha - this figure is so amazing.

There will never be 100% likeness, even 4000USD busts do not have that. However, this is the closest you can get to in collectible.
