I refuse to believe you have less than 750-800 orders. You sold thousands of Arthur figures. I know RDR1 doesn't have the same following but damn, we gotta try and market this thing more if it's lower than that.

I'm not surprised tbh. everything has gone to ****, I think most people who planned on getting John to go with Arthur had taken a look at what they "need" in their collection to cut back on spending and have decided that Arthur is enough to scratch that itch, especially considering most haven't played RDR1.

Not me though. Im trying to heavily cut back, but opted to slow down on Hot Toys over anything else. Ive lost most of my interest in that company. Just need a couple more Star Wars figures and ill be done buying from them.

Personally, I've been in such a financial mess for a few months that I can't pre-order JM right now. I'm waiting for everything to be restored to be able to do it. Owning AM and being a big fan of red, I'm itching to add its mate immediately. But JM will not feed us, nor provide us with a roof over our heads. So I'm crossing my fingers that pre-orders will still be up and running when I can. Afterwards, I think I'm not the only one having this kind of difficulty at the moment given the situation, which could explain the fact that pre-orders are stagnating. Not to mention the approach of the end of year celebrations.

The past couple months have forced me to reconsider on which part of my collection is important to me, and which ones have to go.
Although I have JM on PO, I'll only be getting one. And it will probably be the last figure I'll be purchasing from the Red dead lineup. Instead, I'll be saving for Lim's LoU, MGS and Crap Guy stuff. And of course Damtoys RE releases.
Dam's releases is what's really killing me though. At $400+ cad per figure, it adds up quick!

Unfortunately the world is in crisis and facing recession if not already so.It is the luxury, the material things that go first. The collector hobby whatever it may be is the first to suffer. It would be prudent of any manufacturer to produce less and with fewer accessories in order to maintain the quality and price point. Hence Dutch shall fall into this criteria. A friend once said less is more, I for one am happy with this, I stood back and took a reality check of what is really important.

I haven't even played RDR1 but I know the story, got John only bc he looks amazing as a figure and gonna look great with Arthur. With John I have also preordered third Arthur,bc why not. I own lot of toys I don't love as a characters but they make a great collectables based on their appearances. And no I'm not rich,just these things make me so happy nothing else gives me that kind of joy,no fancy clothes,car or latest iPhone.I don't have any of those lol but have a billion dollar collection

Rn I'm broke too, for some reason lot of stuff shipping at once and paid for few preorders, but I don't regret.
John figure looks so beautiful whoever loves cowboys need to get one. Squirrel with a gun alone is priceless.
I'm that kind of gamer who likes only 5-6 franchises so not going to miss any outlaw Lim makes.

I agree with ppl, extend preordered window, till January.

I definitely LOVE the idea of 2 types of figures, one cheaper one deluxe. I have a bad situation now as well and only things I want to get are Lim releases and Damtoys Leon S Kennedy my MOST WANTED figure ever and that's about it.. However 30$ to secure your figure is nothing as Lim releases a year from now which is just perfect man, it gives you time and everything.

I would only go for great deals I see if someone sells or something on my other 2 beloved characters Jon Snow/Geralt from MTToys that I really want. I'm really lucky to have a few things I like that I grew up with and I can't think of another figure I would really go for as of now or in the future. I'll be really happy with my small collection.

Again, the idea of 1 cheaper figure with less accessories is absolute amazing and after I first read R_R_X mention that it definitely reassured me that I can afford all the next releases without issue and I'm 100% for it, the only thing that makes my heart hurt is the base as I LOVE the Lim special stands

Hi, First attempt to fashion handle from brass wire, next attempt shall be better.

Quiver made of leather for the arrows, holds 12 comfortably, I like arrows too, maybe like the bullets a few too many.

Made a thread on reddit in RDR group,has 2k views in a few hours, as I mentioned ppl had no idea these existed.

I mean on one hand that was supposed to be the point, keeping them low key as not to attract too much attention from Rockstar...but then preorders aren't up to satisfaction so...

Third attempt, one more attempt on shape. At the end of the day it will not break and has a deeper hook end. The real thing would be well bent and battered. If your Mother in law is happy that is good enough for me.

well I haven't provided any information,just the images, said ''hey seems John figure is coming'' There's several threads about Arthur on reddit already. Believe me Rockstar knows lol

Put in my pre-order the other day. I was planning on waiting until this credit card cycle finished, but I figured, "what the heck, what's another $30 on top of the pile of money I've already burned this month."

Well, that snowballed into more spending and I ended up buying an Xbox RDR GOTY disc to check out backwards compatibility. I'd hooked my PS3 back up after a few years and booted up RDR and it was jaggy as hell. The game was visually dark too. I'd gotten used to RDR2 and it's higher quality graphics, the color palette of RDR is so drab.

But wow, XBox-enhanced RDR looks way better than standard PS3 RDR. But it got me thinking, John's face is just nasty and dirty, so I think the sculpt is fine, it just needs those factory enhancements alluded to earlier. His facial hair is just nasty, so I think if the factory can add a higher blend up into his cheekbones, maybe even some shading around the eyes, maybe thicker eyebrows, we can take this one to 11.

If I could have one wish in 1.6 it would be for manufacturers to fit neck post ball joints in each sculpt. LIM Toys has started by including the cap, the ball joint would make head swapping much easier without the risk of damage to the sculpt. In the meantime I use Mammoth tape, the tape that thinks its a glue, sculpt remains in place until you decide otherwise. I now feel much better for sharing, I bet you do too.
