Hot Toys - TMS032 - The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale Dark Trooper Collectible Figure

Finally got my first one this week. Have a second ordered

nice. Not as nice as I was hoping but a solid figure. The arm had popped out in the package but refitted no issues.
the thing that really lets me know is not just the fact its still battery powered but also that its two locations.
im trying to connect mine all up to mains but that’s going to be a pain

Gideon's dark enforcement has arrived...



More impressed than I expected to be after some of the guff I saw and heard in some video reviews. The only real pain with it so far is it picks up dust faster than an f'n swiffer! Jeez!

I do like it's display presence, even if it's design is a little too much on the "wouldn't it be cool" side opposed to the practical that we see in SW. Like, what are those pouches for really?

No regrets getting it...it will look good paired with Gideon.

I may pick up one someday to display with Gideon, as well. It is just lower on the must-get queue.

Yeah I want two of these, but they've yet to be coupon eligible.

They were eligible for the 10% off sticker code when it first came in stock -- that's how I got mine.

I meant the spooktacular sale or the 30%, but yeah doesn't seem they're even eligible for the 10% anymore from what I could tell.

Idk why but Gideon and the darktrooper don't really excite me all that much tbh.

Mando Season 2 finale was a great Star Wars moment but needs time to solidify as a classic climax in the Star Wars timeline/saga. i think it's the kind of moment that most fans will enjoy even more a years pass.

Finally opened my Hot Toys Dark Trooper after receiving it over a month ago, and …WOW!!! The body language that can be achieved with the articulation is fantastic. A super fun figure.

I keep thinking of one my many favorite childhood toys, Micronauts Baron Karza - a lot of similarities – look it up online.

I’m so happy with the Dark Trooper, that I decided to get another.

Arrived in Australia and with a note about the batteries

Is that it? Just taking the batteries out of the pack? So we could've just done that the entire time?
The whole thing has just been so bizarre. I recently bought and built a Lego kit with a light up brick, the button battery clearly visible, yet no hassle.
We are a weird country some times...

I’ll probably get at least one of these eventually to go with Moff Gideon. One plus a Death Trooper will be a good representation of the Mando villains.

What’s even weirder is that all the other figures that came in that have LED like the Iron Man figures don’t mention anything. But someone said they struck a deal with HT to change the battery compartment so it will be interesting to see what they have done.

If so it is incredibly annoying they couldn't sort this out sooner. No Clone Wars Maul to face off with Ahsoka as a result of this debacle.

I think Popcultcha just shipped mine, but I won't know until they send me their notification (just have the Aust Post one for now).

Am keen on picking up from TBA,but if Pop have it in,I may just buy local....when their Xmas sale hits soon

Mine shipped out from Popcultcha on Tuesday, arriving Monday. Have one still on preorder from KGHobby but decided to get another when I saw Pop getting it in now (Now Gideon will have a flank!).
