Almost positive that's not him.

I hope not.

Looks like that's from the opening scene anyway... younger Ford in the foreground.

But the idea that an Indiana Jones time-travel movie might try some schmaltzy ending with old Ford meeting his younger self seems... frighteningly possible.

Hmm… a time-travel crossover?

The more I hear..the more I do not think this is going to be a respectable send-off for Indy. This sci-fi cliche stuff creeping in all over the place just doesn't sit right with the original trilogy which is more fantasy/myth based.

All I can say about this is that I hope we get some new Indy figures out of this. I NEED a proper Indy (the problem is with whom to display him with, but I've recently had the idea that a Mr. Knight would fit well). And also an extra head to kitbash a Nick Fury. Sorry SLJ, but the MCU version isn't half as cool as the Ultimate one, which wasn't half as cool as 616 Fury, so I'll have to go with a Ford head and eyepatch for mine. The recent announcement of the Secret Warriors Omni reprint has me wanting a proper Fury on my shelf, so a new HT Ford head and hopefully a new MCU Fury from Secret Invasion will help me make it a reality. I just wish they'd give MCU Fury some type of classic SHIELD Uniform past the Matrix coat. Ah well, we'll see.

But yeah, this will have time travel. All set pics confirm it. We've seen Myrmidons fighting Romans, which is a difference of some thousand years give or take, so... I can't say I'm that excited. Time Travel's too much. I won't comment on the supposed leaks, as they sound too insulting for me to take seriously. I know Disney's not bright at the moment, but even they are not that that stupid. I'm hoping for a good action adventure flick, and another great villain by Mads. But man, I just can't seem to get a Mads dolly. He gets wasted in the MCU, then FB3 flops so I'm left without a dapper wizard Mads, and I doubt he'll get a figure from this flick. Come on Marvel, reuse him as Dormammu's avatar in DS3 already!

They're finally making an Ultimates adaptation?

SLJ post credits walking around on sword barefoot with gut sticking out made me sick to my stomach.

Totally agree with needing new figures of Jones. I cant believe Indiana Jones (an iconic franchise that is loved by so many) has been completely ignored by sideshow and hot toys for almost 10 years. Hot toys was 2011 (Raiders figure) and Sideshow was 2014 (temple of doom figure), I believe. It’s insane that we haven’t gotten anything new from them.

Like I would totally buy a new premium format of Jones and or Hot Toys of whichever movie from the franchise. Just make the goddamn thing. It’ll make bank

Oh. Yeah. I've blocked the Iron Boy flicks from my mind. I don't think I've seen a single one in full, part a cam recording of NWH.

SLJ stopped trying a long time ago. I saw him as a downgraded 1610 Fury in the beginning (the MCU would never let him get away with what proper Ult!Fury did), but at this point I'm too bored. They get the X-Men back and his scar becomes "lol an alien cat scratched him". God I hate MCU Carl Manvers... He's just Old Man SLJ now, nothing more. I want a proper Fury on my shelf, and seeing as other actors that fit the role such as Clooney and Kurt Russell are not viable options, Ford's my next best pick. Maybe we'll get a General Ross Ford figure, but I really doubt it. 616 Fury has the Infinity Formula so I'll be fine with a regular Indy head. Yeah, yeah, if Ford got the role in the 2000s he'd be silver haired but my shelves are my canon, the MCU can bugger off.

Exactly. I'm generally disappointed with HT's output lately. Even the SW offerings are leaving me cold, as I collect Jedi and Sith only, so all the Clones are useless clutter as far as I'm concerned. Add all the random one-off Z-List MCU stuff, and the "high end collectible" appeal has worn off for me. I feel as if I'm collecting pricier Hasbros in a way. Maybe it's because all of my favourites got/are getting ruined and thus I have no desire to buy the figures themselves, which dampens my excitement in general. But I haven't made a single PO since the MK III. It's all so drab. I figured we'd have had some MoM Stranges or a Mr. Knight by now, a figure that breaks the "basketball texture pleather" types, but these and clone repaints are all we get. I even passed on the Tobey-Man as they still haven't fixed the horrendous "pajama" outfit they're using. I'll keep waiting for my Spider-Man.

If 2023 rolls around and I don't get a proper Indy with a real leather coat like their recent Jackverine, I'll be pissed. Although I doubt that we won't get one. Question is if they'll make it a DX or something and drive up the price by forcing a Young/Old Indy 2-Pack, because I don't see anyone wanting to buy an Old Man Jones if there's a proper one on the market at the same time. There's not even a difference in the costuming IIRC. Beyond that, I don't know if they'd make anyone else. We'll see next year, I suppose.

Sideshow is sinking like the Titanic in this economic down turn with a massive over abundance of over priced junk in their warehouse just look at their current desperate sales extravaganza that is going on yikes!

Hopefully we get an updated Raiders Indy before the implosion happens.

That’s all I need is an updated Raiders Indy and TOD if they decide to make it a double pack lol

I still have far too many dollies in my wishlists to be thinking about a collapse. But I surely hope HT gets their act together.

We'll get old Indy first and they will scratch their heads wondering why ANOTHER overpriced doll doesn't sell. ("Well, it was a contractual obligation to do that version first...")
