EXO-6 Star Trek “Deep Space Nine” Figures

I have a new favorite in my collection!

There’s a new picture up of a teased Kira on FB…hmmm not sure how I feel. It looks like a seasons 1-2 Kira and my OCD won’t cope with the latter seasons look of the rest of the figures. Also agree that I’m not seeing much Quark either. Looks like any other Ferengi.

Yeah after all the fuss over only making FC uniforms for the crew, seasons 1-2 Kira makes no sense.

The high collar of her first few seasons uniform is gonna stand out against the rear of the crew. Doesn’t make a lot of sense :/

You’ve got to wonder then if Nana Visitor requested this particular look? I would have preferred later seasons as well. I’d even take two head options with releases, rather than half a dozen hands and jacket swaps we’ve seen.

That looks a lot like season 5-6 hair to me. Her season 1-2 hair had harder edges.

She definitely did. Nanjin has said that every actor has to approve their likenesses and some have made requests for changes, etc. Plus, Nana mentioned on the 7th Rule Podcast that she requested Kira have the shorter hair on Lower Decks, because it's what she prefers.

Agreed, her hair was a lot higher and combed back in the early seasons, so looks like there's still a good chance we'll be getting a Season 5-6 Kira to match the rest of the crew. And I get the sense Visitor's main request was just that it not be the longer S7 hair.

That’s the impression I’m getting off Nanjin from FB today. Maybe the uniform will be adjusted to match season 5-6 and the collar shown in the image above is just a placeholder.

Sorry I know it probably makes me sound ungrateful, and believe me im not, just the collector in me. :-/

I'll be happy just as long as she's accurate. It would be a Major bummer for her head and uniform to be mismatched. (Not that I'm remotely expecting that to happen, just saying.)

Hmmm one could potentially assume that the “likeness” encompasses the entire figure. But if Nana has approved a season 5-6 look then it would be very odd to have a seasons 1-3 uniform.

Also I’m only assuming that uniform based on the collar in the CG render. Could well just be a placeholder.

Just spotted a Quark tease on Exo’s main page. Looks good, again, all down to lighting. Thought we might have seen more by now. Anyway, he’s available from 9:00 am PST

He looks great in that photo. Even the expression looks slightly different (for the better) compared to that screen grab from the EXO-6 video posted above.

Have a $20 Sideshow coupon so he should be eligible.

That is absolutely the prototype.

What a nice Thanksgiving suprise. The Sisko is here and overall he's a great figure. I decided to mix scenes to make one overall bad @ss Captain. I love the subtle skin tone differences on his head. Great accessories and outfit as usual. I'm slightly stressing that the sleeves to his red shirt may be bunched up in his jacket but I suppose I'm obsessing over nothing. I'm thankful for Nanjin Tam.

When you want to capture the essence of your two favorite episodes.....

Decided to try something. I was looking for a more specific DS9-style base for Sisko and found this graphic from the center Ops table that seemed like it might be perfect. But even though the colors are accurate to the series I'm not sure the pink and green really works as well here, so I might have to come up with something else...
