There seems to be a clear reverence for Clint and his films on display from the team in the video and they had some really strong feelings about their desire to get it right, which was exciting. The $64 million question (that they didn’t seem to touch with a 15-foot pole in the video), though, is whether or not that applies to the products their customers get.

1/4 scale was mentioned a number of times. Has it been confirmed that we are getting 1/4 scale Clint?

I might be tempted by the Blondie figure. Not the biggest fan of westerns but The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is an iconic film of the genre and film no matter what.

I think the Blondie SS figure should be a head and neck all in one piece, at the moment it looks awkward with the separate head and neck. No real need to have a separate head and neck for that fig, as Clint is seen for most of the film wearing the neckerchief.

I agree

I wish SS would revise their DH 1/6 sculpt, just not seeing Clint in that sculpt. However, I suspect they are too far down the line for sculpt revisions now.

The DH sculpt looked okay in their video. Compared to the footage they showed you can see how it's more of a caricature than a realistic sculpt. Their comment about what people's mental image of a character is made me laugh. I get it, but seems they've been the ones who have been wrong. Clint not knowing about this niche of fandom doesn't make me confident either. He doesn't know what is possible in this medium. Which also means he doesn't know what ultimately happens when SS goes into production.

Yes, I doubt that Clint is an aficionado on action figures, or in fact knows anything about the medium.
He probably has no idea a number of unofficial figures have already been made of him.

Sometimes the caricature thing kinda works. Like the Sideshow figure of The Dude is quite good. Not entirely realistic but also fairly close to looking like Jeff Bridges/the character. One of their better overall figures with a human sculpt in my view.

There have definitely been times where Sideshow has taken creative liberties and the result is just crappy though.

To me Blondie and The Preacher both look pretty good. Agreed that Dirty Harry seems like the weakest of the bunch.

I completely get having to exaggerate certain features of someone's face for the likeness to come out. However, it's critical to know when it's taken too far and it has past the point of being realistic. I know HT has its issues, but realistic they have captured. SS isn't too much removed from Dam Toys and their Gangsters Kingdom line.

These are interesting, but as with all SS products, I'll wait until I see in-hand images. Too many proto to production snafus in recent memory.

Just got done watching the video. Like it was already mentioned, it was great to see the enthusiasm the team had for the product, and Clint himself, I just hope that Sideshow wises up and gets someone at the factory level that cares just as much about QC, and we don’t end up with crap. I ordered all three of these, and I really hope they continue with Josey Wales (his best Western) and High Plains Drifter.

I really wanna see how Blondie and Preacher turn out, I know the first look is more iconic but Preacher is more up my alley.

Sideshow head sculpts are always just a bit caricature-like. The cut, lines and details are always too sharp and a little more interpretive than accurate. Almost cartoonish, like animated versions of the character/celebrity. Even their comic character lines and PF statues often have needlessly exaggerated features and odd proportions. I don't dislike Sideshow's 1:6 products as much as some - they make good outfits and tend to include a fair number of accessories - but they need to step up in the sculpt department and do slightly better rather than leaving their figures at that "a little something to be desired" stage. I'm interested in these but will have to see what they look like when they ship.
