Looks like he straight up jumped out of Dynasty Warriors into figure form. Looks excellent. My only concern is if he will scale well with Cao Cao. I saw a pic of Dian Wei and he looks like a giant compared to Cao Cao.

Wow. still not filled by BBTS? Chances are your order may get cancelled. I got a couple of my 303 toys and poptoys preorders cancelled from BBTS in January.

Really? That's concerning....
Maybe the middle guy backed out for the increasing shipping cost. I wouldn't be surprised if the items come back with higher price tag later.

I got the inflames Zhang Fei and Guan Yu mixed with my 303 tiger generals. They’re all on horses but I don’t see a crazy size difference. They all match really well. But that Dian Wei… lol

Haoyu Toys Zhang He looks badass. Now if only we can see these next to the 303 and inflames figures to see the true scale

Wu generals incoming. In case you don’t know, that’s Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Sun Shangxiang, Sun Qiao, Gan Ning, Taishi Ci, Zhou Yu, and a weird one, Lu Su, since he’s not a warrior. Too bad no Lu Xun, Lu Meng, and Zhou Tai.

Dammit. Guess that means no 1/12 Guan Yu for my lineup.

Dian Wei is bigger than all the 303 Toys figures but he actually looks good next to Cao Cao. Since he is suppose to be a giant of a man. Now I can’t wait to get the rest of the Wei generals.

Thanks for posting this! After the earlier pic of the size disparity, I thought this line of figures wouldn't go with my 303 Toys stuff at all. Your pic looks real good though! Hope the other Wei generals match up size-wise too

I have heard that only Dian Wei is bigger. Zhang Liao and Zhang He should scale even better with 303.

Are figures from THREE KINGDOMS series based on a game or purely historical characters?

Awesome, I hadn't seen the news that they were doing another Huang Zhong so thanks for the heads up! I'll be pre-ordering this for sure as the older version of him is too pricey on the secondary market.

I'm relatively new to collecting so please rely on the veterans to weigh in, but I'll comment on the Pop Toys/Coomodel/303 Toys comparison. I have multiple figures from each and I think they're all great. Pop Toys Ujio deluxe, Coomodel Ii Naomasa, and 303 Toys Sun Quan are among my favorite figures. All of these have awesome metal construction and feel hefty in hand.

I don't remember where I read it, but someone may have commented that Coomodel and 303Toys are actually related companies? I wouldn't be surprised as the level of quality is very similar.

On a down note, I feel both companies have recycle designs too much, especially in the helmets. 303 Toys especially is giving every general the same 2 helmet designs (recently released Zhang Fei, the upcoming Liu Bei, and now upcoming Huang Zhong). The armor for these latest 3 also looks disappointingly familiar to me.

Their armors are a little too flashy to me. And they reuse designs a lot. But quality is not bad. Three kingdoms history were real. Most designs were based off the TV series filmed long ago.

Now this is worthy upgrade. The first Huang Zhong left a lot to be desired. I’m gonna get this for sure.

As for the quality of 303 Toys, they’re outstanding, especially the newer figures with the copper armor. However, like many people pointed, they do re-use a lot of the armor pieces. Sun Quan and Cao Cao have so many of the same armor pieces that they’re almost identical.
