Hopefully there’s still hope for Ravager Thor. The movie wasn’t great but that was a great look.
That figure is sick.
Bale was great as usual, but my God the film around him is now being used as an example of overstaying your welcome. That clown Waititi and Hemsworth really screwed it up.
Hemsworth is now saying they should kill Thor.

Figure looks really good! Just no interest in the character. Only figure I want from this movie pure just b/c of the look would be the Roadworn 2.0 fur collar look
They’re really starting to include the movable eyes with more characters these days it seems. I wonder what dictates which characters get that feature now, since it’s no longer exclusive to only DX figures like it used to be.

I thought it was the best Thor film just because they finally killed off Jane and we dont have to tolerate that forced relationship anymore. As if Hemsworth would give Portman the time of day. I mean suspension of disbelief is one thing...
I really want to see hot toys apologists try to justify the $275 or more price for this. I'll admit it does look great in any case.

Him saying that maybe Thor has run his course and there's nowhere for him to go now got me thinking. They should do a 180 and make him an overpowered, unstoppable, no BS, miserable prick who doesn't take any ****. A bit like Jackman's Wolverine crossed with Johnson's Black Adam. Like IW Thor when he turns up in Wakanda but amped up to 11. But this is the MCU so...

Every thread rn ends up the same way. These threads are for the figures, not the movie discourse (there literally is one for that) yet everyone makes sure to let us know how much they hated these movies after thoroughly making sure we all knew they hated it in the last five threadsThis community is cool and all but discussion around a lot of these properties is getting extremely tiring.
Either way…it’s really awesome to see some of you who want this figure!
Deciding if you want a figure will always lead to considering the source and there's few figures that can stand alone outside of their film. Everyone casts their vote in that regard so not sure it's worth getting worked up about.
The figure itself is a pretty fantastically unnerving sculpt ( as it should be) with a costume thats boring as all hell imo.
Does feel a shame after passing on so many cool villains they landed on this one to make.

He was definitely a cool villain, and Bale gave a great performance. But unfortunately he didn't get enough screen time, he had all his god butchering scenes cut for some reason, and the tone of the rest of the movie didn't match the character at all. Looks like a great figure though.

What? Are you really trying to say that Portman isn't as beautiful as Hemsworth is?
Can't imagine the neckjoint being pretty either.

This might be the only figure I pick up from this line as he was the only thing making this movie bearable. The guy had so much range in the movie even though so much of him was cut. I love the sculpt but with such limited accessories he should've definitely come with another.

There was a flipped shot early in the movie which I only noticed because Bale's nose mole was on the wrong side.
