Got what I wanted :yess:
…minus a couple pieces that weren’t high on the list so no big loss.

Once again, BIG THANKS to Ken and the TA crew!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yes! Thanks for the sale! I always spend way more than I intend to but these sales are too nice to pass up.
Normally I'm pretty reserved and only want no more than 5 items from these sales but I spent waaaaay more than on this sale than any of the previous ones :slap :thud: But like you said, it's too good of a sale to pass up. I'm sure the sale not only helps us, but helps them clear out inventory as well.

2 or 3 items were gone by the time I was checking out but they weren't the big ones, so I got basically everything I really wanted and then some.

Thank you again TA!

Glad to hear most have able to get their most wanted items! I know it hasn’t gone so nicely in the past for a lot of folks. Hopefully TA isn’t in for a nightmarish day packing all these orders now.

I got my package in yesterday's mail and decided to order some more odds and ends. I never noticed this before, but adding one small piece pushed up the shipping cost from around $11 to $26. Weird, I've never come close to seeing a shipping cost that high from TA. I had to drop the piece.

The shipping cost in general looked high compared to prior orders, but I also saw the same. I added a cloth cape and it pushed the shipping cost up by $11. Dropped that from my order.

I love the local pick up option, makes things so much easier. Shipping prices are crazy everywhere.

We refund shipping overages when they jump like that. It's just the way the system calculates the shipping along for the USPS quote. We have to assume every item ships with a box around it, just in case someone orders just 1 item. It throws the system off a bit so we run a shipping refund list to make sure.

I really think that’s one of TA’s best qualities. They don’t try to screw anyone over with shipping. I’m just a state over from them so I don’t typically worry about what the shipping rates are because they’re still pretty low even when the system has a brain fart. Funny enough I had the opposite experience this time around. I had an $80ish shipping option as the lowest option and then added a pair of hands and a new slower $30ish option popped up. Pretty much everything gets to me at the same 2-3 day turn around but I thought that was an odd system decision.

I guess the morale of the story is don’t put too much weight into some crazy shipping rate that the system might come up with unless you’re ordering some clearly large and heavy diorama stand type options. A cape or a hand isn’t likely going to make or break a certain threshold in most cases, although it might just be the straw that breaks the camels back in some rare cases :lol

And yeah, order #2 got placed for me last night. Might make it to a third before the sale is over haha!

yea I'm highly considering a second order, but each time, something else I was thinking about that wasn't part of the must haves is gone so idk if that's the universe saying I've bought enough :lol

I had to go back for more too, having finally nabbed the proper belts for my long dormant pirate captain Kenway project I finally remembered how many guns and blades he needs :slap
