The toy collecting community never fails. Y'all browbeat Nanjin off the forums, and he's been extremely passionate and open about his Star Trek work for years. And have you read through any Hot Toys or Star Wars forum? Some of you need to get out of your parent's basement. And this is coming from someone who has over 100 1/6 figures and has been in the game for well over a decade.

The figure is awesome! I've never gotten two of the same figure before, including AM, but I think I will for this one. I've waited for a JM figure for what, 12 years now? This is as good as I could hope for! A lot of you seem to be basing his RDR1 look on his epilogue appearance and not how he actually looked in stunning 720p PlayStation 3 graphics.

I haven't traveled over to the sick headsculpt thread yet, but people are complaining about that??? I was absolutely stunned by it when it popped up on my FB feed last night.

This is the perfect love letter for fans of both games. This isn’t for you if you have never played or watched the games. Their previous AM and this guy aren’t just some regular “cowboys”, these guys mean a ton to the player. The way the good people at Lim captured Jim Milton’s essence is perfect and honestly the best they could do given the age of the model. I’m pretty sure me, and most of the fans, are extremely satisfied and so excited for this release. Thanks Lim! Don’t ever let a handful of naggers discourage you to the point of canceling future figs, especially when some of them haven’t even played the game.

Haven't read the whole thread yet, but when I saw the pics, I loved em. Just waiting for P/O to order! So excited for this!!

Were there a bunch of negative comments earlier in the thread that were deleted?

I don't see any negative comments, but RRX is implying the response is overwhelmingly negative. I'm confused

I think this has drawn the amount of criticism it has, because of the incredibly high expectations set by the AM figure. Some to the point where those expectations would never have been met. If the same promo pics of AM were released today and the standard had been set, I think there would be much more criticism for that than this. I think the criticism is actually pretty tame compared to what could've been for those AM promo pics. The JM promo pics look way better in comparison and I know the final product will look even better. Don't let the criticism get you down @R_R_X . Don't let it affect the Dutch figure. Like he would say, "Have some goddamn faith!"

I’m going to guess it was probably the Chinese collectors being fine fellows as usual. There’s been some criticism here but nothing over the top, and someone else said Facebook is happy (I’m not on there).

You get it after doing a few very rage inducing hunting missions for an old taxidermist lady, JM is quite fond of it and thinks it's "art" much to the dislike of his wife who constantly hides is in the most outlandish places, including a mountain top, once you find and retrieve the squirrel from all it's hiding places you get the "It's Art" trophy for your efforts.
Hehe, I never knew that. I only mostly played the main story and then the online so i never managed to get all the side quests. I'll have to go back and play it! Looks like a fun accessory to hide in anyone's collection haha.

The 1907 Marston looks great. That's his iconic look IMHO. Always preferred his more beaten up, world weary look in the first game. His somewhat broader facial features always gave him a bit of a Charles Bronson vibe.

Fantastic work from all involved in the figure's creation. I'm sure you guys will be able to iron out any details you think have room for improvement before its release. Either way this looks deserving of some shelf space :)

Thanks for the support guys, we're listening to all the feedback and we will fix the stuff you don't think looks good like we've always done.

The tailoring on the pants will be improved to be less baggy and we're also going to look at what can be improved on the denim vest.

As far as the first game sculpt we're going to see how it changes with proper paint but we'll probably change it with more rough sculpt details, the scowl is already there I think what's different is the eyebrows that aren't as arched as they should.

Aside from those not sure what else is there to fix but we're open to feedback.

Are the pants going to have the small tears to fit over the spurs? I always loved that detail in the first game. I understand if it isn't there to preserve the integrity of the pants.

Those tears are actually not there in the first game only the second but we'll see what can be done about it, big tears like that isn't ideal for 1/6 scale clothing.

You and your colleagues are doing a grand job most of your customer base is very pleased, however the icing would be Dutch.

Loaded question I know, I understand the hesitancy to change anything about the second batch of Arthur to maintain the integrity of the figure for all collectors, but are there plans to address the fragile nature of the spurs/guns/etc for John?

It seems even on the second batch, guns were falling apart. I know on my first batch Arthur, cylinders fell off, and spurs broke, (I'm not familiar with gun parts, forgive me) but the panel above the lever/trigger on the rifle fell off. Will these parts be glued in place during production?

Maybe just include a second set of spurs in the figure, in case the first set breaks? Maybe make the spur "holder" out of a softer/more flexible material, so it doesn't snap? Is there some middle ground of soft PVC for the holder, and hard ABS for the spur? Just trying to brainstorm how you produce something hard enough to hold the spinning spur, but soft enough to avoid breakage.

The negative comments came from like one or two people..

Majority of commenter's think the figure looks great from what I've seen.
