I'm curious what Timewalker will have it for. Steve over there did confirm they will be putting it up sometime next week.
I know it’s not gonna be in my hands for absolutely ages but I just can’t wait to place an order for this!

I wish stores could coordinate with the manufacturing companies a little more cohesively so stuff would go up for order everywhere at the same time.

Hendrix was actually pretty decent few minor nit pics.

Issue of the paint wasn't helped by the semi open eye sculpt choice. I think this will turn out good given their past figures but I don't agree with the price at all. $300 fair enough but what they're asking no.

Tns have it for $398

2 questions (sorry if been answered):

1. Will I get the exclusive sunglasses if ordering from Kit?
2. Is there a release date?

Count on it being very late though.

Does Sideshow typically carry Blitzway products? I think they have before but I’ve never bought anything Blitzway so haven’t paid much attention.

I’d prefer Sideshow or somewhere like BBTS or Alter Ego instead of buying directly from Blitzway if they’re going to charge a lot for shipping.

The sunglasses would be nice to have but not a deal breaker if I miss them.

Yes, all those U.S. retailers have sold Blitzway.

I emailed Blitzway about shipping the figure to the USA

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email.

We will ship to USA.

Please be informed that shipping fee is not included in the deposit at the moment.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Blitzway

Got my order in with KG after pestering them to see if they’ll stock him and the statue (and Gandalf the White- which seems unlikely.)

Basically a flat £300 all in for the which is a lot for a 1/6 figure but not enough to put me off something like a flippin’ Kurt Cobain dolly.

They’re unsure about the 1/4 scale but seems like it could be doable.
I always find with KG customer service that you basically have 3 minutes max of conversation time with them before they’re simply done with you and leave no matter what point in the discussion you were at.

Maybe they will resume for round two tomorrow to actually give a definitive answer. Need to frame my questions as efficiently as possible to make the most of their short attention span.

Does Blitzway historically have a tendency to do the same character over and over again in a different suit or something? If i want a Cobain figure i rather have him in a different suit... The unplugged, Live and Loud or Smells for instance.

Not really. The only precedent is Tyler Durden and Hannibal Lecter, but both were offered in two variants at the same time. To follow precedent, you'd expect them to offer two Kurts at the same time.

They haven't really done enough in 1/6 scale to really establish a pattern one way or another. Ghostbusters in the GB2 gray uniforms didn't happen. I'm not sure if Zorro warrants a second version, same with Bill & Ted. Carlito and Scarface were so long ago, I don't even think they count anymore.

It's possible, however unlikely, that they release a different outfit next year. If I were Blitzway, I'd offer the Unplugged outfit in the 1/4 scale statue, because it's the more profitable item in the most recognizable outfit. Then double-dip, and release it in 1/6 scale later on.

Oh my.. it's around $400 for a lot of people. I guess people on our country are lucky we can get it for $315, and it's already high enough for me. But I'm tempted to get this, it's Kurt Cobain and an official one at that.

Didn't people complain about Blitzway's website shipping orders out slowly, like after everyone else. Isn't that what happened with Ghostbusters?
