Yet her About page doesn't say she works for Sideshow, but Southern Edge Orthopedics/Arthrex.

She's been creating the event pages on Let Your Geek Sideshow.

There's a pattern here...

Christa E. Jiminez-Golden: Southern Edge Orthopedics/Arthrex

Joe Lombardo: No workplaces to show

Alex Aronowicz: No workplaces to show

Jessi Dawn Cowan: Owner/President at Mind Your Own Business

Maybe they're all being held hostage at Sideshow?

We should look out for their disguised cries of help during live streams.

Happy Geeksgiving!!
We are going to be running a few small coloring/ drawing contests this week! The winner of these contests will be selected and given the chance to spin the “prize wheel” on our Daily Wrap-Up shows at 5 PM (PT) over at side.show/youtube.
For this contest, Mort is back for Geeksgiving! We want you to turn Mort into your favorite hero, villain, pop culture icon, etc., and tell us why you are thankful for this character. What makes this character so important to you?
Rules:
  1. Using the blank template below, either printed or digitally, turn Mort into your favorite hero, villain or pop culture icon.
  2. Give a short summary of why you are thankful for this character and why they mean so much to you.

This contest will begin Wednesday, November 16th at 6:00 AM (PT) and will close Wednesday , November 16th at 2:00 PM (PT).
One randomly selected will be selected and we will spin the prize wheel for you during our 5 PM Daily Wrap-Up show!

When Autumn said this event was not really a rewards thing, I honestly thought she was just still in Spook prank mode and messing with us. But this event so far feels less like "Geekgiving" and more like the biggest leftover Spook prank. Instead of rewards and games, we get gamy, leftover turkey.

Since I prefer ham to turkey on Thanksgiving, this Geeksgiving feels like I'm being served swine flu tainted ham.

“I'm seeing a lot of questions and requests about Rewards during this event so I just wanted to drop a quick heads up that Geeksgiving is not really an Rewards event, it's focused on giveaways and a celebration of the community.
We won't be doing Rewards lotteries during the livestreams, so if you're watching those just for a chance at them, you can skip them for this event and save yourself the time!
That being said, we aren't leaving you totally empty-handed for this one, so be sure to register at side.show/geeksgiving to pick up $10 in Rewards and you may also get lucky enough to be picked for a few random Rewards lotteries that happen for people on the registration list! You don't have to do anything to claim those, they just get added to your account.
Enjoy the event!”

Sleepsgiving it is then!

Take the $10, ignore the event and have a good night's sleep. 💤

Spooktacular = Sleep is for the weak.

Geeksgiving = Sleep for the week.

should say "celebration of the *US* community"

I appreciate her honesty...assuming she's being honest.

I don't mind them tightening their belts, as long as they are upfront and honest about it and not wasting our time getting hopes up. It's the TIME WASTING that has bothered me this year with their new format during these events. It's frustrating to sit through a 90+ minute stream, and even play a game, only to get zero rewards for participation, after we've been trained for years now to expect the spins. They can call it entitlement and hate on fans who collect rewards, but it's become a learned behavior that THEY fostered: we watch their streams, we play their games, we earn small rewards. If there's no benefit at all to this week's streams, then I can sit out this event and reclaim my evenings, happily.

The $10 is still very much appreciated. I'd almost rather just get that and a transparent message like this that there's nothing else to be gained. I still hate this new event format of nightly wrap up shows for days on end. It's a LOT to ask of your viewership.
