This this was going to be my first female figure from them so no idea that this is typical for HT.

I mean in terms of toys, which these are, they are premium. These compared to a Hasbro or Disney store figure makes the Hot Toys figure the premium version. And all things considered, they are still the top dog for the most part when it comes to official figures at this scale, usually putting out consistent quality that doesn’t drop too much from the prototype unlike many other similar companies in this space.

Sure, there’s InArt now, but we still have yet to get one figure in hand to actually know if in fact they’re worth their price. And even then, HT was the benchmark used as what InArt needed to beat.

Not saying HT is perfect by any means, but they are still the standard that we tend to use to compare any figure by any other company to, with the phrase usually being something like “it’s nice, but not HT quality…especially in the paint.” And depending on the price of said figure, is usually followed by "How can they charge HT prices but gives us crappy knock off quality?!" or "Well, we didn't pay HT price so I guess we shouldn't expect HT quality, but it's not bad for what it is."

Just a quick note, if you haven’t taken some time to view the Unsealed and Revealed video from Sideshow on Bo (a few posts back), you should do so. The Sackoff portrait is stunning under some purposeful lighting. Stoked!

Ordered mine from KG Hobby, so hopefully not too long a wait!

That's just music to Hot Toys ears since they can just phone it in, on the new version.

Man if Bo is not in alot of episodes of S3 of Mando…this figure is going to be underwhelming to own because I love the proportions, detail and paint job on this

Why does she have to be (she was in S2 plenty) and why wouldn't she be? She's basically been set up as an antagonist.

Lol. Well that’s a low bar.

8.5 out of 10 figure. Chest armor is wrong. Headsculpt seems better than the proto, but it may be the case that we get accustomed to headsculpt.

Yeah exactly. The character has been around for a long time. She's worth getting on those merits alone. Not sure what season 3 has anything to do with the figure's desirability.

I thought about getting another for the TCW display but I can’t reconcile the armor differences mentally.

So I have another plan in mind.

I can see why even the subtlest of differences can also make out to be big differences

For me I'm gonna have one with beskar Mando and one with TCW Ahsoka!!!

Yeah, it used to be about a month. Then it was about 2 months. Now? Who knows. It could be next week, it could be January.

Would be cool if Sideshow made her TCW figure to go with their animated figures. Could even make it a deluxe with her two helmet variations and poncho.

Could also make a Rebels one for a nice evolution display of her too. Won’t hold my breathe tho

Really torn between ordering this from overseas and knowing it’ll be here in 6-20 days or ordering from Sideshow to use/get reward points but having no idea when it will arrive.
