100% Agree. Once I got the Nazgûl’s steed in a steady pose I never moved it again until the hurricane this year shook the house enough to topple him over. Thankful the horse was fine the Nazgûl needs to have some of his armor glued back on though. As cool as it would be to have choices I would rather have the horse as sturdy as can be. Plus I would think it would be cheaper that way too.

It would be cool if they did a few other horses (maybe Brego, Arod, Asfoloth, Snowmane, or even Bill). Sculpting them in different poses would be one way to get a little variety. (A non-articulated rearing Brego - permanently attached to a base - would go great with a Black Gates Aragorn, Asmus. :stick) But it's probably more economically feasible to use the same sculpt and do different paint jobs.

But if I have to choose ... I'll take stability and the seamless look look over articulation any day.

I used two flexible rods to securely hold my Nazgul steed in this pose.

I’m glad to have the articulation for this piece just to achieve a more dynamic display but my static Mr Z horse that I gave to Arwen is a way better design.

Neck articulation on an armoured horse like MoS’ is a good shout though. I got his horse looking nice and depressed like he’s tired of his unending existence of carrying around that hideous monstrosity.

That'd work just fine. But haven't seen pictures, do you happen to have a1/6 horse in a detolf? Or someone else?

Unfortunately, I don't have any displayed that way. And most of my horses are currently boxed up and my Detolfs are full. But a horse would definitely fit. You'll probably want to angle them diagonally so it's not so cramped. And you can totally fit a figure next to it. May not be the ideal display, but it's definitely possible.
