BUZZTOYS - The White Wolf - 1/6 Geralt (Netflix)

Oh boy. Hope Buzztoys gets this out soon and doesn't lose any sales over this. They seem to have potential based on their Geralt prototype.

I’m sure they’ll be fine honestly. I know for me at least I prefer the season 1 armor but I’ll def get both. Now I would be worried if it was the season 1 version

I'm getting really tired of waiting for this. Also, now Henry's leaving The Witcher because of Superman, but also clearly because they wouldn't work very closely with the source material he lost interest (he could have shot one Superman film for 3 months every 2-3 years TOPs and still shoot series of TW no probs) I kinda feel down on the whole thing and not sure I even want it now. Series 1 started OK, series 2 was bland and although Henry was in it slightly more he was never unattached to the 'bestest Eva' girl, plus Yen with no magic was dull and Frangella was annoying as all hell, and signs are Series 3 is going to disappointing again. I'll probably flog him for a nice profit on ebay and just keep my Henry Superman 1/6 scale on display.

So do we think we will hear anything this month? We must be close now

Even if this releases tomorrow, it will take a while till the stock arrives to retailers and then whole thing gonna take some extra processing time, personally I avoid online shopping during Xmas so I think it will be safer if this ships next year,especially for the international collectors.Super excited for this release, need to avoid shipping drama at all costs.

I agree with you with it now getting to close to Christmas so early next year does seem a better idea

Today got email from entertainment earth that Geralt statue by Weta Workshop got cancelled by the manufacturer which truly ruined my birthday mood. Item is still available across the internet and still says SOLD OUT on Weta website. I'm doing my research but seems I'm the only person who is bothered? lol Cavill left and taking all the merchandise with his likeness with him as well? What is happening? So Buzztoys figure better shows up on December 31st to heal my broken heart.

This isn’t licensed so I don’t think that’s going to happen here.

The buzztoys figure will definitely feature a superior sixth scale body to the soosoo vsrsion if they are indeed going with the lim toys version we saw for the gunslinger

Caville can't stop something that never had any regard for his consent.
If anything, if he has indeed withdrawn his likeness rights from official merch just means that no other company will have a reason to try to impede Buzztoys' figure. It won't be stepping on any 'official' toes because Cavill's official stance is no.
It also makes Cavill as Geralt products all the more valuable.

Cavill? I thought Liam Hemsworth plays Geralt?
But it will be fine, I heard ETA is next month but don't take it for granted.

It is okay,I'll be fine with January-March arrival, not a fan of ''December shipping'' anyway, I'm always so nervous because of chaos posts have during holidays. I hope I'll be able to get at least 2 more for the custom outfits, as I see this is my last chance...I know I'm too dramatic

I know just had a mental breakdown because of statue cancellation as I was super excited for it. Even reached to the sculptor yesterday and he told me that he has no information about the cancellation and if it's truly cancelled he will be very sad as well as it was his first piece for WETA,told me to contact WETA directly,which I did 2 days ago but they haven't responded, instagram promotional post and youtube video are deleted. However it is still up on WETA US website and shows SOLD OUT.

I don't know if anyone else has heard anything - But on my end from Ekia it says "Expected release date is Nov 30th 2022"
But who knows if it will get pushed back further.
I really can't wait for this figure to be released.

It would be nice to at least hear something about this from the company or at least see some sort of update for the figure!

You don’t often get updates in the sixth scale hobby. Most of the time it just releases when it releases and that’s the only news you get. There’s very few companies that offer actually information so you have to be grateful we’ve gotten as much about this figure as we have.

I totally agree with you that you don’t get much in term of updates with the sixth scale hobby, but you do with some with little updates here and there showing a current headsculpt or update to an item ect. As far as I’m aware (and I may have missed something) apart from the initial pre order photos not seen anything about this particular one? Fingers crossed it comes soon
