I think the reason I like Epilogue Dutch as a figure more is because it is definitely a bit cooler looking but it’s also Dutch at one of his most dramatic moments. In a way, it’s his point of redemption and the last go round for who he was. Seven years of thinking about the final days of the Van Der Linde gang, betraying Arthur, leaving John for dead, letting Micah dismantle everything he had built- a single shot from Dutch’s revolver is as much of an apology as anyone would ever get out of a man so prideful. I look at that moment as the last act of the man we thought Dutch was, one moment before his fall into the abyss. It’s literally my favorite moment with the character.

“What are you doing up here Dutch?”

“Same as you- I suppose…”

We're already getting RDR2 versions of the characters, we're already getting the RDR2 outfits with Arthur, John, and Dutch. So, give the fans of the first game something. Give them the antagonist of the first game, give them RDR1 Dutch and John. You've got the Van Der Linde Gang at their beginning, and at their end. Including a second RDR2 outfit at the expense of the RDR1 outfit is disrespectful. Dutch is already coming with the RDR2 outfit as the standard. It just makes sense to include the RDR1 outfit, just like John.

I would say it has more to do with the characters themselves, Arthur Morgan is celebrated as one of the best video game protagonists of all time and for a ton of people he IS the best, if you tried to sell a random cowboy figure that looked similar and with the same ammount of accessories it would never sell as good.

But I hope John gets just as much since he was the one who paved the way for this series to grow, I do think Dutch in his 1899/1911 looks would be great. The fact we got the sculpts for John based on his two versions is appreciated, I do hope for an accessories pack like the duster, poncho, winter coat.

I'm a fan of RDR1 too, I just think Dutch's look is the worst in the game, character model and all. He looks 1000x better in RDR2. I was even rooting for Lim to do RDR1 John too! It's not necessarily that people don't like or are disrespecting RDR1, it also simply has to do with preference.

Lim already sold a mid-beard sculpt for AM and soon we will be getting a new sickly sculpt with the stalker hat for AM. I think they will definitely be making outfit and accessories packs to pair with both AM and JM but that will also depend on the demand of us who want it.

Anyway I've seen some people ask for the Black fur coat and scarf look from the start of the game too, so between that and the epilogue look with the beard which one would you pick?
