Getting on was an absolute pain. There’s barely any stretch to them, and they’re so thin that you’re almost guaranteed to rip them trying to get them on the neck. I don’t know how these are meant to work over the costume, since I had a hard enough time getting them under the suit. Once it’s on though, I can’t deny it looks really good. Still, you’re probably better off going with SchmittyJames’ latex glove method.

Urgh, that's disappointing. Mine's on its way and I made the same assumption as you.
 
Yeah they're a right faff to get on but do look decent in the display. Up close you can see through to the suit underneath though.

I had scored an additional loose figure and was actually playing around with the articulation. I really like all the ratcheted joints, plus I think the suit is well done, not only in detailing, but how it moves when you move the joints around. It stretches and folds pretty well, and I was able to raise the arms way up as well as kick the legs forwards and outwards to a good degree. I was pleased to note that the knee and elbow joints don't seem to pinch the suit at all when you bend them back to neutral. It only came with the unmasked head and a few other accessories, but I'm going to gladly display the Parker head sculpt, since I've come to favor the unmasked looks for superheroes as of late.
 
Quick question for any owners, is the black leather-like material on the suit in danger of flaking? Or is it some superior composition?

I've not seen flaking with this kind of material like the way pleather dries out and cracks. However, the material is sensitive to certain posing, can sort of "peel" when given pressure from something like the clamp from its stand etc.

So short answer No, but it isn't exactly worry free either.

I have yet to have any issues with mine after about a year and half. I do put mine in extreme poses as well, but try to avoid using the clamp as I feel that does more damage than anything.

One small problem I have had is when leaving the masked head bent forward for some time, it wants to stick to the neck.

Great responses, thank you both! Seems HT has improved the durability of their fabrics quite a bit, and the aesthetics look phenomenal.
I've been thinking of picking up a spidey since I don't have one yet : ( Upgraded suit seems #1 so far on my list based on a couple of variables. (The NWH old crew is out there for preorder, but thats years away, want one now haha).

Bringing this thread back from the dead. I'm finally knuckling down to do a proper unmasked mod to the figure body. I've got a Spider stealth suit neck on the way, and just received my extra body (Thanks Toy Anxiety). I've removed the neck cap and actual neck post already. This leaves a bit of the rubber neck/trap piece remaining. So I have to decide how much to trim off for a natural look. I'll need the new neck to make those decisions. I'd like the suit to sit as flush to the neck as possible, as it appears on screen, so I may have to trim that rubber neck piece down to where it meets the collar bone, to allow for the new neck, and use adhesive to attack the fabric directly to the new neck.

Here's the point where the neck terminates on the screen suit. Looks like the suit on film ends about three web rings from the base of the neck, so that's what I'm going to aim for.

Good work! Can't wait to see how it turns out! I laud you and those who do extensive modifications on figures to achieve greater results (y) Meanwhile I break out in sweat just swapping out heads/hands :LOL:
 
Well I'm happy with the collar height, and the symmetry is dead on. BUT that rubber neck casing is just too thick to allow the flesh colored neck to sit inside. I'm going to have to experiment. I'll start by trying to carefully thin the rubber to allow for the neck to slide in. If that doesn't work, I'll have to remove it down to the base of the neck, which is tricky, because the suit doesn't allow much more access to trim the insides.

Finished this piece this morning. I'm really happy with the results. Granted the suit isn't as "skin tight" in the neck as it appears on screen. Due to the design of the neck and suit, it's the closest I can get it. Had to dremel the neck around the base to allow the suit to sit closer to it, verrrrrry tedious adjustment, but makes a big difference in the silhouette. The dremeling is all done on the outside of the neck adapter, so the connection and articulation is not changed.
