At this point, it's brought down their entire site. Some operation they're running over there...

Kept timing out on the computer so I clicked the email link from my phone and just did Apple Pay and I got my confirmation e-mail asap.

This is the same thing I'm getting it. It's starting to feel like more trouble than it's worth at this point especially since we can't add RPs which is what I planned to use my remaining points on before the year is out.

Guess I’m still glad I at least got one before this…ugh, how frustrating for this. After all this “hurry up and wait.”

Well….I think I am done trying. Again, so frustrated with Sideshow building up so much interest for such a limited amount of figures and then not even bothering to ensure the infrastructure could support it. No way they wouldn’t have sold all 300 easily to the existing customer base. Still holding it out for order for weeks and advertising it as they did, it must have brought thousands more site clicks than ever before.
just a shame for customers that have supported them with lots of other purchases. Been buying from them since the beginning of Star Wars license (2008). No respect for existing customer. Sad day.

I kind of figured this was going to happen. A limited release figure that you had to have an RSVP to get means there’s going to be a lot of opportunists out there looking to buy it. Whether for their collection or to flip.

I didn’t really want this figure anyways as I don’t collect much Marvel anymore and if I was to get a Cap it would likely be his main Endgame suit, which has been discontinued numerous times.

That was a frustrating experience and imo, not worth the hassle. I tried for 20mins, had no luck, and I’m done.

Yeah, if I’m remembering right one of the Anakin figures actually caught their server on fire Been a while since they lasted used a PPO (priority preorder but it sounds like this might have been a good time to bring that back.

Yes. I agree. I called into SS and it was quite funny. They stated they knew the site kept crashing because of an overwhelming response to the Cap figure. They said “just keep trying” lol.
I did let them know that it was so disappointing to hype a figure up through all media to then not ensure they were ready with the infrastructure they needed to support. I just heard typing in the background while they were multitasking. No apologies or anything. However not so surprising I guess.
I have around $3-4k of open preorders with them and while that is a drop in the bucket to them, I am canceling all of those orders. As doomcock would say….without respect we reject. Lol.

Risk n reward….i bought overseas when it first came out for $425. SS price and online issues buying first worked in my favor.

Was gonna get an extra one. Can’t use Rewards Points and seems to be a hassle with the order queue. Well, it makes it easier to go with War Machine Mark I to dump my points.
