You do realize that’s why they make prototypes. I’ve been to loads of trade shows where prototype is shown off and when the final product eventually comes out it’s changed. It shows the industry what you have in the pipeline and that’s why they say pending approval etc.
Yes, I'm aware. However, this company is under scrutiny the likes of which I've never seen a 1:6 company come under before, and there's so many attackers out there that they're best to show near to their best effort the first time around. Either that or delay the reveal until they have a better product to show off. Aragorn is a huge deal for a lot of people, he's the one character/figure that will pull in that wider audience as there's never really been a decent version of him done before.

Yeah I know what you mean. They are under pressure to deliver 10 out of 10 each time.

I guess they've set themselves up for that, they've talked a big game and people expect that perfection now. The 1:6 community is brutal and unforgiving. I'm absolutely certain the final product will deliver and look more like that leaked rooted prototype.

So what am I thinking at this stage? Pile of piss or got potential? :huh
Got potential, as long as they work from this hs, which is 90% of the way there already...

As long as they update the HS before they put up for po. QS takes critical feedback and makes changes hopefully it’s the same for the inart department. They’re close but no cigar and no $500 for good enough likeness figure lol.

The eyes are a little too large and the jawline on what was revealed could use a little work, but honestly this HS looks pretty good (and the one 'leak' is even better). The nose and head shape look pretty spot on, which not a single custom appears to be able to do.

I think this already looks very good. I have an Asmus Aragorn with rooted hair as well as a factory sealed ACI Aragorn. I may pick this up and sell the other two. Looking forward to seeing InArt’s Legolas.
