LIMTOYS sculpt released in 2024 (I'm writing from the future)
Just do it lol

Doesn't have to be any familiar one... could be whole new sculpt. I sure would like to know whose?
It looks like it could be new and if it isn't from IA then it's probably a custom run.

In the mean time, where is InArt with some better pictures of this figure's actual sculpt? I mean, it's right stinking there at the show -- no one has a good camera in China?

Isn't the point of a show is to SHOW your figure?

This is all they've posted, odd decision to reveal a new figure at an event and not follow up with an official announcement with HD promotional pcitures.

This is genuinely terrible. I try and not be overly negative when it comes to this hobby, but that looks no more like Viggo than any Asmus sculpt. I don't see Viggo at all. So much wrong with it.

I've been dying for a quality 1/6 Aragorn and would have spent up to $500 if the figure was good, not even great, but if this is what we're getting I guess my LOTR collection will continue on without Aragorn. Very disappointed to say the least.

Told by whom?

These live events have been a gigantic failure with the confusion, miscommunication, dashed expectations, poor presentation... Has anything genuinely positive come from them?
We’ve seen that production Joker but it’s been filmed and photographed so badly we still don’t actually know what we’re getting!

Luckily, the community is piling on their ‘feedback’ hard and fast so, if IA choose to do this sort of thing again, they will be well aware of all the areas in which they’ve failed this time around to improve for next time.

This sculpt isn’t half bad; a little frowny but it just doesn’t look the same the one on show.

Can't say. Been told to keep it hush. Sorry.

Maybe the drop-off from professional photos to displayed figure was so great with Gandalf, that InArt decided to try it the other way around -- show the figure first, release the insane lifelike professional pictures after?

Different angles. I think if the "custom" was shot more straight on instead of downward angle you would see the same chin line.

Also I'm seeing a lot of Michael Fassbender in the likeness more than Viggo.

I'm so confused. Believe me, I'm routing for your information, Rzeznikk.

If those two images end up being the same sculpt, I am totally whipping out that comparison picture in every single thread that posts "looks nothing like the proto".
I'm hoping what I'm being told is true as well. Hopefully more pics will surface soon. I just saw more 4K images of Gandalf (which looks great) hopefully some 4K images of Aragorn will soon follow.

Might be a case of the one at the event being an older prototype and the rooted hair photo being a more recent one. Would make sense given that they never posted official announcement photos for Aragorn yet so the rooted photo might be a bts "current' look at what the sculpt looks like.

Who knows though. Will reserve judgment until the official announcement photos are out by them. Be a shame if it was the other way around but I would imagine the rooted photo of the sculpt is more current since it's the one they haven't officially shown yet.

The thing about the “custom” sculpt that makes me sorta doubt that it is the InArt, is that the eyes look painted rather than the pretty distinctive look of movable eyes.

Would love to be proven wrong though.
