Hadnt realized that was the hold up. Going to be ready for the drop next week.

I am extremely excited to order Admiral Kirk from TMP as this will be my ultimate Kirk (at least until I order TWOK version )

This is coming from someone who has a long history of 1/6 Shatner Kirks
1. Started playing Star Trek with my friend many years ago with our 12” GI Joes. The black hair version was designated as Kirk. This one only counts in my head.
2. Mego 1/6 Kirk from TMP. I currently have the uniform on a figure with a custom Admiral Kirk head by Spenser.
3. Playmates 1/6 masterpiece series Captain Kirk from TOS
4. Playmates 1/6 Admiral Kirk from TWOK
5. Ordered WGP 1/6 Captain Kirk custom head which at the time thought would make the ultimate Kirk. Sadly it was too small
6. Nanjin’s first custom 1/6 figures which included Captain Kirk. I still have it but have replaced the head with a custom Captain Kirk by Spenser.
7. Nanjin’ s custom TWOK 1/6 figures which includes Admiral Kirk.
8. QMX 1st version of Captain Kirk
9. QMX updated version of Captain Kirk

I can’t wait to see what the future brings for an old time TOS figure collector. Bring it on Exo-6 and Nanjin.
I am ready to have a new collection of ultimate Trek figures.

My birthday is Monday so a TMP announcement or release would be perfect.

He said he would need about a week to finish packaging and then he would put it up for order… seeming that was Friday I would think the earliest we may see Kirk would be next Friday or more likely the Monday after (the 24th).

Nanjin seems to be challenging himself to get faster and better with each release and I’ve seen him mention order fulfilment a couple of times. To me any day than a Friday makes sense as you have at least 2 solid days of fulfilment before a weekend (assuming those teams don’t work weekends that is).

I’m expecting those of us who end up with the luck of the delivery gods will end up with the figure in hand by Halloween at the latest either way!

I think that Weyoun runs into a huge problem because of the show he’s from, though. While Shran is unquestionably the #1 most popular character in Enterprise not on the main crew, Weyoun may not be in the top 5 or possibly even top 10 most popular non-crew members in DS9 with characters like Garak, Dukat, Damar, Quark, Jake, Rom, Leeta, Martok and others in the show. Weyoun would be nice to have, but I wouldn’t give up Garak or Martok for him, personally.

IMO Jake and Leeta are fairly forgettable characters compared to any character played by Jeffrey Combs, I’d say Weyoun easily tops them in entertainment factor/likability and is on par with Dukat. I don’t need a Rom either, Quark is the main Ferengi lead and arguably is much better written/entertaining.

Who knew Kirk had a wrist communicator in TWOK as well as TMP!

I agree that it would be hard to spend $200+ on a bare-boned Jake figure and pretty easy pass on Leeta, at that price.

Weyoun is a must-have and as you mentioned, on par with Dukat as THE DS9 villains. Not sure I need a Rom, either.

Yeah I'd say Weyoun is far more necessary than Damar, Martok and those others given he was a representative for the central villain of the show. In fact I'd even take him over the female changeling or one of the Jem'Hadar.

Pretty sure it’s just a watch, he wore it in the Genesis cave and used it to check the time.

Nothing says it couldn’t be the same on Terrell wore which he used to speak to Khan though.

Jake might pop on the shelf with one of those sharp waistcoats he wore. I see him as essential to Sisko.
Leeta I'd be surprised if she get made, but I'd snap her up. I really like her character & Chase Masterson is lovely.
If she isn't feasible as a full figure, maybe just a head sculpt and then she could be kit-bashed.

I agree that a Weyoun figure is essential to any DS9 display. The question, however, is which Weyoun do we get??? My vote would be for Weyoun 7.

Hope all this is going well for Nanjin. Love the figures so far. He is going with a lot of characters outside of TOS and TNG. Hope the market will support it.

This figure is really growing on me. Never thought that would be the case, but here we are!

For this time only, we are using an industrial-grade computer motherboard double-reinforced edges shipping box. Suppose to be safe for gorillas to handle.
A sample will be coming to me this weekend. If OK, then we will announce order date.
