You make it sound like you didn't choose to register and post on a board full of the type of people you're calling out.

You also make it sound like it's news 🤣🤣🤣

These InArt figures are really bringing out the worst in a lot of people and showing why collectors are a difficult group to deal with.

Apply that whatever posts you please.
The question is why ?? As we said at the start competition is good for us collectors, that hasn't changed.

When you get idiots like Danoby turning up at an event, putting their drinks right next to the prototypes and just being negative to be negative. There have to be other reasons.

The only one to loose due to InArts (who play dirty like this) is Sideshow and Jon Deaks imo. Seems Danoby has been bought.

After seeing the quality of the video footage, akin to 1980s Bigfoot footage, then I’m kind of glad Aragorn wasn’t there. If you’re going to build-up an event this much then at least have your own cameraman there with your own YouTube stream. We had a stream from that miserable vulture Danoby yet nothing from InArt themselves, come on.
Yep with a bit of luck they'll learn from this experience and keep the now hated people like Danoby and Deaks out and give us serious collectors a more polished event.

Because it's not that big of a deal :dunno. I can wait another 2 weeks to see a figure that isn't gonna be out for another year.
YOU don't get to choose what other fans can be disappointed about.
No big deal huh?

They (Inart) have hyped this event for the past few weeks.
Aragorn was to be their next BIG reveal.
This is a LOTR collector's thread.
In the end, there is always hype about what is coming next, and what that character will look like.
So collector's have a right to be disappointed yesterday and today.
It's a hobby,people are passionate.

Just my 2c worth.

Have SS and Deaks ended their partnership?
No if anything it's strong as ever. Deaks was also at the event, probably also being negative and in with Danoby (watch Danoby's stream and what Deaks posted before he came over), Also bragging about his supposed involvement with Molecule8.

The war between Deaks and Justin is long. Goes right back to the days when Justin started with with that guy Zachary who was with Susan who got fired from Sideshow (due to Deaks if I remember correctly).

It goes on with Sideshow and Deaks against the Hong Kong sellers.

It's an incestuous and bitter background to a toy doll collecting hobby.....who'd have thought ! You could make a damn film about it !

Oh right. I wondered because I hadn’t seen him post any links to SS in a while on FB.
Yeah I forgot the Deaks Susan thing with Zachary and something about figures. They whole Susan Zachary thing ended in tears too.

I’ve noticed Deaks has it in for HK sellers alright.

in the end it is all about money, as it always is.

Who potentially loses money and their monopoly through healthy competition from the HK sellers ? Sideshow.

I mean calling it BS and missteps is a bit of a reach imo, you can be disappointed but some people exaggerate a bit. I just don't think it's that deep, especially as everything in this hobby seems to be delayed these days, dates mean nothing when it comes to announcements and releases anymore. Their Batman reveal was delayed signifncantly by about 3-4 months so it's no surprise to me that this would be too.

Anyway the comments here aren't as bad as all of the doomers on Facebook that act like everything is the end of the world when it comes to their expensive barbies. But perhaps I came off to harshly to folks here.

It'd have been nice to see the figure, sure, but personally I don't really care if I have to wait longer. They chose not to show it for a reason, whatever that reason may be, **** happens. I'd rather wait until it's ready to avoid even more discourse.

Aragorn was teased day earlier with a typo and on event day with fixed name, so I don't think this argument makes sense. It isn't something what was announced 2 month earlier and then didn't show up at the event, it was teased 2 hours earlier before the event, and ''got damaged blah blah blah'' is just a bad lie. They hyped fandom and I'm sure lot of ppl wanted to see him there as he was the only figure we haven't seen before. Personally I stayed up till 5 AM for it and then felt ****** all day because haven't slept. I don't know which earth you are living on, but on our earth this is a big deal, LOTR franchise has a huge fandom, while there is no good merchandise out there this was a hyped release, its not just next Iron-man or Batman, it is Aragorn the King of Gondor, nothing else matters.
