My gawd! :horror I can't believe this thread is still going...and no company has tackled these! You guys have done a remarkable job creating some awesome customs and I have been a voyeur on this thread from time to time from the beginning. The boat has sailed for me but if some 3rd party company (or one of the main ones) committed to making the Galactic Marines, I'd be all in!

I know its not aliens but alien. I wanted to post the diorama i have, with the Fire Girl eggs. Not movie accurate the first Alien movie and the eggs, but they look cool.

As a bonus the actual status of Hicks with base and egg and Neca figure.

Great looking dio, kam!

Your Hicks is a great reference to use for updating one's figures, as well.
thank you man. Glad you appreciate it but I am sure someone here, more skilled than me, will make theirs much better. I am thinking about going for seamless arms now. :ROFLMAO:

I've got all of your pics saved as reference! Seamless arms are definitely the way to go. I've got them for both Hicks and Hudson and it really makes a difference. Here is an old pic of them (still need to detail them out):

Here's my Hicks. Love this guy!View attachment 601867

Great looking Hicks, Timemeddler! And seamless arms, to boot! Saving this one, as well.

Out of curiosity, how much can it be taken apart prior to repainting? How many separate parts are there, I mean?

You can repaint without taking it apart.
I wanted to work on those barrel shroud and I had to work from inside as well. The parts shown on those 2 images are mostly it. Feel free to count them :p

You can get the Movie prop replica for $1000, or Stunt prop replica for $600 or repainted Nerf version for $400
Or get this for $99 and have fun painting yourself :D
