I’ve bought a few figs from them. Their actual proper website is balls, but they should be ok via their ebay shopfront.👍👍
thanks for that info.
I feel confident now.
Pop have theirs up on ebay too now,but full price!!
Hope Globalgear ship soon cause the price paid, although still high, was cheaper than what it is retailing for.

I’m just opening my set to find a few QC issues.

Firstly, is the gap between the body and the steering vanes supposed to be so big? I remember this being discussed in the Mando bike thread, but can’t remember the outcome. It looks wrong to me, and the steering vanes seem to sort of droop down, which also seems inaccurate.

There‘s also a small part at the start of the steering vanes that is crooked - and one of the steering vane fins is a little crooked.

I can live with the last two - but the gap seems too big. QC issues like this take the shine off the whole opening experience…

Yeah, I agree.

Someone called that the Pac-Man gap.... it's a damn good name, but now I cannot unsee and it bothers me a lot too.

Anyone tried to close or reduce the gap?

The Pac-Man gap is on all of them. I take it the fin doesn't adjust side to side to straighten it out? (My bike is up top a tall shelf so can't check it out easily anymore.)

I had an issue on a SS bike I ordered from them years ago that was like yours (crooked start of steering vane and maybe some other issue too) and just decided to send back. Wasn't worth being annoyed about it with these prices.

See below, as I remember earlier on, good ole TonTon labeling the gap as PAC-MAN.(y)
Was there any takers on reducing the gap for real?
Also, there's a large gap on mine between the front of the bike and the weather vane section, anyone else have this? Looks like Pac-Man.

Thanks for the replies folks. It’s a pretty disappointing QC issue on Hot Toy’s behalf - especially considering they had the opportunity to correct it for the RotJ release!

I’m also annoyed they didn’t close the gap in the helmet. While it is present in RotJ, the helmet design is clearly intended to be closed fully, and it’s certainly not open as much as it was in The Mandalorian.

Aaanyway, #FirstWorldProblems

Boy, am I glad I hopped onto that ToysWonderland pre-order special they had a month or so back to save a hundred or so bucks, which they still haven't posted.
Damn Popcultcha getting this in during a 20% off sale...

I photographed, then packed down my Sideshow Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper in preparation for sale.

I was honestly not super excited for the Hot Toys set, considering that the Sideshow set held up pretty well in comparison IMO (especially in certain aspects, such as the lack of the Pac-Man gap, for example).

But during the process of handling the Sideshow set, with bits falling off etc, I never want to handle it again, and am grateful for the Hot Toys version 😅
