Continuing the repaint my Iron Man eyes to get rid of the "dead eyes" look when unlit. This time I'm repainting the eyes on the LED head of the Mark 45 Rescue armor. For the LED head, it was necessary to gently pry off the faceplate, since it's glued onto the main head piece. I really like how those eyes pop more now, and they still light up well through the semi transparent white paint (Tamiya Pure White rattle can).

Previously I had used a slip of paper behind the clear eyeplate (in the headsculpt/faceplate), but the eyeplate and faceplate cast shadows onto the paper, since it was underneath, kind of ruining the illusion. I think the painted eyeplate mod looks better, it evens out the white across the whole eye.

Such a big difference, it is a small detail, yet the impact is significant!
