EXO-6 Star Trek “Deep Space Nine” Figures

Season 1 or Season 5… by the will of the prophets hopefully the ladder. I think most people prefer to have the entire crew represented in the same season but at the end of the day we get what we get. Some of these actors are making what some may call “unpopular” decisions, like Bakula. Turned down a much better rendering of himself but at the same time that would’ve locked us into brown suit T’Pol potentially. Sounds like Nanjin’s hands are tied with Kira, if they knock the S1 version out of the park, than it’s still a win.

If it looks good, it's mine. No matter the season.

Nanjin's confirmed it's not the S1 'Headphone hair' now, so I think S5/6 look is a safe bet

Well he's only ruled out the hairstyle from the pilot episode. Didn't say anything about her main S1 look.

Hmmm I wonder if a season 1 hair, with a season 5-7 uniform. Or would that be too jarring? I admit it would look odd…

It would. Most people at a glance may not even notice the difference. Her season 5-6 hair was very close to the season 1-3 hairstyle but noticeably softer.

I think we worry a lot about how something is or isn't going to be or what Nanjin said might mean this or that. Ultimately, I haven't seen a choice that wasn't apt to the lines that have been put out so far.
I have faith in the direction and choices being made so far and in the future. This line is in good hands.

Personally I'd be fine with that as I could just sculpt on more accurate hair, but I know that's not an option for most people.

Hopefully it won't be an issue though and we get a Kira that works perfectly fine with the other DS9 figures.

I know from interviews that Nana Visitor prefers Kira with shorter hair, and she also controls her likeness rights, so the only question is will we get season 1-3 Kira or Season 5-6 Kira?

One option would be to have swappable magnetic hair and include both looks. The outfit may not match one or the other but the head sculpt hair will be available.

It's not an option if Nana will only approve one hairdo. I would hope when presented with options, Nanjin was suave enough to show her renders with pilot hair, season 7 hair, season 4 hair, and season 5-6 hair and left the season 1-3 hairdo out of the mix.

Bit simpler with Jadzia isn't it, she only ever had the ponytail.

Yep. They ditched that hairstyle immediately after that. Terry apparently hated it.

She said she was really happy with her Lower Decks look, which was a bit more stylish like her S4-6 hair, so hopefully that's what she approved for this figure as well.

She also had more than one version of the ponytail. Sometimes she had a 'soft' hairline with a little bit of body on top, and sometimes she had the hair pulled back much tighter. And the hair clip changed style at least once.
