If revisiting the Dynamic Duo, I'd love to see Green Hornet and Kato pair, finally done justice in this scale.

That'd be cool and different for sure.

Beware if anyone ordered it from tw

I confirmed with Mars/Saturn that they didn't offer it to tw and they will NOT offer it to tw

I don't understand how could they list it for sale without knowing the cost
Is that just for this set or the 66 Joker's as well?

Ah I nearly bought it from TW, it was listed for 175 yesterday up to 190 euros today.

PO'd today. Really regretted not getting the HT releases. Not sure I'll have the budget and space for the villains though.
I'm getting the Duo, '66 Joker and from the looks of it Mars Toys Penguin, but I'll stop at those. Love Gorshin's Riddler but I can stop at my top two favorite villains.

During a pause between rewatching the '66 Batman series I started on the '66 The Green Hornet, which I don't think I ever watched all of before.

I'd forgotten how different in tone these two Dozierverse series were. While Batman played comedy with a straight face, The Green Hornet played the murderous criminal world with a straight face.

There was a time when I wished the '66 Batman was more serious, and all the while I've had Hot Toys' Batman and Robin I've thought of them more as renditions of the comic than the TV show. I'm sure it'll be the same when I get the villains etc from Mars - Joker will be his sinister self, Riddler maniacal, and Penguin a homicidal crime lord.

Hornet and Kato would fit right in.

There's at least two episodes of The Green Hornet in which an episode of Batman is playing on a TV.

That's a mind bender. In Green Hornet's world '66 Batman is just a TV show, yet Green Hornet and Kato also appear on it. :huh

:lol

It was the 60’s. A lot of crazy poo happened.

The Green Hornet episode 13, "The Secret of Sally Bell":

"We got a fortune riding on a deal and you're watching Batman?"

The paradox worked both ways. In Batman season 2 episode 21, "The Impractical Joker" Bruce and Dick are watching the news to which Bruce Wayne checks his watch and says, "It's about time for The Green Hornet", followed by a hornet sound and theme tune.

I have the Dynamic Duo pre-ordered through OSK and I noticed today they no longer even appear on their website. I know OSK is a trusted seller but is that SOP for them? I wouldn't have thought they sold out on pre-orders for the pair.

Seems like once Kit or however their system works to reach an amount that is deemed "enough" those items don't show up anymore. I'm also with the understanding that some items can not be seen until you log in. Limits who sees what, if you catch my drift. In short, yes SOP.

Absolutley Loved the "Dozierverse" crossover and implied shared U. though as you indicate the connection was done somewhat tongue-in-cheek. And tone of their respective shows were quite different.
A more legit shared U. and genuine World Building was the actual Trendle & Striker shared U. by way of Dan(ny Reid, the son of Lone Ranger's brother who was massacred at Bryant's Gap, becoming a regular ally to the Lone Ranger.
Later publisher and founder of his own newspaper The Daily Sentinel, and eventually (Grandfather (radio) or Father (on the TV series) of Brit Reid the Green Hornet.
Dan Reid was often seen as guest, joining the Lone Ranger and Tonto on the TV series.
And would go on to inspire that universes next Gens masked avengers Green Hornet and Kato .

While I'de love to see a 66 Green Hornet & Kato to pair with 66 Batman & Robin.
I'd just as well pair them as the legacies of 50s Lone Ranger & Tonto series, if they were made in 1:6 too.
Don't know how wide a net Mars/Saturn is casting, but these would all be great!

Thanks!🤙🏻

If you look at most of the items on OSK, he has an order window. All the good sell thrus drop after the order window. If there is still pre-inventory to be sold, those items are not likely to drop.
