Awesome! Glad to have helped you finish what Carlos started. Basically by selling the gauntlet on to you, I paid around $400 for the Cap as well. This community works out great sometimes. Hahaha.

Was the 1.0 modded with the MoS body? If so, I'd say it holds its own against the 2.0. The new one has better tailoring, but it doesn't look like a huge leap over a properly modded 1.0 in terms of body proportions.

I think Hot Toys will release a normal release version of TWS version sometime in the next couple of years. They've got 80% of it ready, they just need to update the hair, change the shield to blue and make the required minor costume updates e.g. boots.
That way the EG version is stillan exclusive, but everyone gets a version too.

Yeah $315 plus tax and shipping is real close the the $400 i paid but im buying another one anyway.

Reading back through the last couple pages and…ooph. Sorry to anyone who paid $500-600 for this one. Patience is the name of the game in this hobby, guys. Especially if you plan on collecting long-term.

I paid that much, I don’t mind. It’s the gamble. There was no 100% guarantee SS was gonna get him. But I’m glad they did! Now I’ll get another.

Glad to see that it will eventually go up. Hopefully it's in-stock and we might be able to use the free shipping coupon they currently have going on for in-stock items. I have $45 in RPs that I could use on it. Just trying to decide if I actually still want this. Amazing how quickly life events can impact this hobby.

Oh my, I wishfully thought it'd be priced similar to EG final battle Cap, but alas, the higher price point is the new norm.

Yeah I'm hoping they release it rebranded as TWS.

Well... I am glad Sideshow is getting him, that's for sure. I think we all need to realize that
$300+ is base price from Hot Toys moving forward (until the next hike in another year, lol).

Now I just have to hope that Paypal sides with me and I can get my TW money back.

Sideshow just sent out this email, very similar to Mark 46 and Chrome trooper, so I bet Captain America will be soon.

Yeah, same. By the time I convert to AUD, add the 10% tax and the DHL postage I paid a massive US$40 extra to definitely get it rather than hope I get it. I really am losing zero sleep over it.

Man..and people paid around double what Sideshow is asking.. ouch.....

if they don’t side with you, I would make a charge back with whatever CC company you used with PayPal before giving up completely. I honestly would’ve done that out the gate instead of trying PayPal. Would’ve been much quicker and more than likely would've definitely gotten your money back right away.

I signed up to the NY Con registration when it was announced a week back. I got those recent emails. I'll definitely be ordering Cap and using coupons and gift card to lower it a bit, I cancelled 2012 cap only because as much as I think the suit is cool, I prefer more the tactical one's like WS, CW, AOU, EG. That's also counting the WW2/ GA outfit.
