I think this is the prototype again... isnt it ? Cant await to get the both...

I think its the closest to accurate anyone has gotten this Batman out of the box, but the cowl is a little stylized and the eyes are way too wide open. The angles around the eyes are more accurate than Kojun's last effort but I'm still seeing a little QS001 in that cowl forehead and ears.

Edit: The more I look at this the more it reminds me of the QS001. It’s still really nice but not 100% accurate to the screen used cowl.

Hot Toys DX19 Batman is WAY better than this........

It's the best Bale Batman to date IMO. They got the proportions spot on. Can't wait for this.

Idk if this is a passive aggressive comment towards me but I never made a claim anything like that.

The cowl is still weirdly stylized for the price and the extreme bug eyes are a weird choice never really represented in the film.

Really not seeing what you're seeing with this piece. I think it hands down has the best proportion and design out of any statue or 1/6 released for it.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s the best looking statue of this character I’ve seen but IMO that’s not saying much, the PF, PO, and QS offering all had pretty glaring issues.

This one is more frustrating because it’s pretty close in a lot of ways but not in others.

For me the Bale sculpt and even the chin on the cowl doesn’t work for me. I think the skin is too craggy and the expression is too “I left the stove on”.

The cowl is still better than the other statues but it’s too flat in the back, the top of the head is still a little pointy like the QS001, and the eye holes are too large and the ridge beneath them continues to the nose just like the QS001 prototype when it should diffuse under the center of the eye. The ridge across the temple continues pretty sharply up to the ears which isn’t accurate and the lines across the face/sinuses under the eyes are too horizontal. Combine that with googly eyes that aren’t even looking in the same direction and a cowl that appears to be under scaled and the result is pretty underwhelming IMO.

Again, it’s close, it’s not like the QS where idk where to even start because it’s all so soft and the eyes were just objectively wrong.

Seeing more Justin Hammer than Bale in this.

They actually changed it from the prototype. I still like it, but I preferred the prototype personally.

Some people don't like the pucker lips look, but I agree with you, it's more Bale. Don't know why they changed it.

Bottom of neck is wrong and bottom of emblem chest off too. Also I don’t see why companies make the v of it the Adams-apple so large too.
