Between them Mars Toys, Kaustic Plastik and InArt are really putting Hot Toys to shame recently. So refreshing.
This. I’d pretty much written off 1/6th for a good long while out of lack of interest, but third parties like this and Lim Toys and companies like InArt, DamToys (The Godfather’d been a grail for me for a good long while), and even Sideshow (admittedly not optimistic, but I’ll be watching with caution to see how the Clint Eastwood figures turn out) have sort of reinvigorated my love of the hobby.

Neither did I but I suppose non-HD TV resolution played a big part in that. I look back at old TV sets and wonder how we even saw anything back then :lol
My kids laugh at my childhood television viewing all the time. Like having to wait for things to come on, or missing shows 'cause you forgot.

just grabs from collector pictures. i think mars toy is an affordable/budget option but nowhere as good as the dx08 and thats a fairly aged figure, but aged well. lots of critiques from the tailoring, messy tie, and the eyes on the sculpt. accessories and hands are very decent, as it should since theyre ripped from the dx08. but coming from first time experience, i felt burnt and mislead by this company. i shouldve known better that i wouldnt get something close to the dx08 but i thought an over decade old figure can be improved or matched with new technology today but i gambled wrong

to good to be true for a third party, theyre setting people up with too high of expectations. this looks like custom level stuff and even custom level stuff cant compete with this.

I will say this has me curious if perhaps they might not have some better quality products in the future. Hopefully, anyway:

This is ridiculously cool! Had I not vow to quit third party figures 5 years ago I would have gotten all of these. Really doing what HT failed to capitalize.

I’ve never seen the 66 show but these just look amazing.
I’m hoping to build a comic style Batman’s Rogue gallery collection alongside the movie stuff so some of this line, with their simple, vibrant outfits may suffice for that purpose.
Romero set A looks the best of the bunch but my OG Sideshow Joker is filling that spot so I don’t think I can find a justification to get this beyond it looking great.

Set A for me. Hot Toys just teased it way back when and sat on it.

So Mars Toys gets my money. Looks very cool and will look great along with my Hot Toys Batman and Robin. Now I’m getting more tempted with the Jazzinc 66 Batmobile.

I’m not on Facebook, but can somebody mention to Mars Toys that the mustache is a little too dark, needs more white on it.

There's a newer post about his tash that Mars Toys has liked:

Frank Bonilla
Impressive. I look forward to Mars Julie Newmar Catwoman and Yvonne Craig Batgirl.
A but the mustache is too dark.
