This is the sort of body Drax should have had. I guess HT are banking big on the Rock’s popularity but we’ll see if that translates to higher sales now that we’ve reached the highest ever pricing for standard releases. If Toby Spider-Man and Cobb Vanth are $300, the Rock with rolling eyes will be eye-wateringly expensive.

Or Black Adam cosplaying as the Rock. They even did the people's eyebrow. Really? I can't imagine a lot of people buying one much less 2 just to get both versions.
Nah. I want a feature with the pec pop of love. Maybe Inart will do that.

Very impressive. The non-gold one is better. On a technical level I like this, but the movie would have to absolutely win me over to get me to buy. As it stands I'm not wowed by the trailers.

Cool looking figure. I’d have to really like the movie to get it. So far to me the movie looks just okay. I can’t really tell which version I like more. I think just the regular versus the gold armor, but I’ll have to go over the pictures again.

I mean.. it’s The Rock. One of the biggest and most popular actors of this generation. A chance to capitalize on his popularity with a figure makes total sense.
DC figures aren’t always as much of a lock so I can understand why Shazam wasn’t made since while well received his film didn’t blow up the box office.

Oh yes. im hoping on a Drax 2,0 from GotG 3. So if this is a new body then that bodes potentially well.
But looking at that neck its probably a silicon overmoulded body ala Hellboy.

Not really much difference between the two sculpts imo. Seems a bit of a waste.

Yeah inArt must definitely be doing a Black Adam. HT have gone all out covering all versions.
I think... I like the Golden Armor better?? I almost want the golden armor with the black boots, lol.
Three flavors of one figure seems very un-necessary, Hot Toys.
Just one DX release with all the components would have sufficed, thank you.
I give no credence to InArt, they have yet to produce anything and I am still awaiting the community meltdown
when their products are no better than what Hot Toys does with a higher pricetag and don't look

I don't know the first thing about Black Adam, but look at what happens when Hot Toys gets a little competition in the sixth scale market; InArt announces they're doing a Black Adam, and Hot Toys pulls out all the stops. Newly developed body, two stunning headsculpts each with rolling eyes, some special fabric that allows for the light-up chest, killer diorama base, and multiple versions to choose from.
When I initially saw the promo photos I mistook it for one of those $3,000 Prime1Studio statues or something. This has to take the cake for the most effort Hot Toys has ever put into a release.
