I have to say I'm gutted about no Gowron or Martok. I thought the Kruge outfit would be an ideal reuse for Gowron & Martok. Certainly no Chang then it seems

We aren't getting Gowron or Martok either it seems. I'm part of an Exo 6 collector group on facebook. I made a post about getting a T'Pring figure and someone posted a screencap of Kruge being the only non Worf Klingon we are gonna get because the market can't support it. I hope they change their mind about all 3 characters.
In that post Nanjin specifically replied that there are "no plans as of right now" Meaning he hasn't started planning them yet, not that he is never making them.

So no need to worry, I'm sure he'll get to them in due time.

I assumed that anyone dabbling into DS9 beyond Sisko would likely purchase at least one of those Klingons.

Gowron and Martok would pair well, Gowron benefits from the TNG base to.

If those two don’t have market support I’m wondering about Dukat who is arguably one of the best villains we’ve seen. Personally, I think his character and story arc was an integral part of the series, it’s difficult not to fathom a Cardassian and Vorta (Jeffrey Combs) as part of the DS9 collection.

Who knows, if DS9 sales are strong there’s always a possibility.

Swe, that's what's worrying me. If two popular Klingons can't get made, can a Cardassian or Vorta have hope? Ill be extremely sad if we don't get Gul Dukat. He was THE best Trek villain to me.

Nanjin has already said he is making Dukat, but Garek is coming first.

Honestly I could live without a Gowron or Martok, as I don't really need a bunch of Klingons all wearing the same outfit. But Chang is a must with that very unique outfit and look that he has.

A Chang would be amazing especially if there were any Undiscovered Country figures in the realms of possibility - I know Nanjin said a while ago that TUC may be his closing set of figures but we know his plans have to be like a Founder constantly shape shifting! If we even just got Kirk from TUC from the Enterprise crew I'd hope and pray to Kahless for a Chang!

This is a TNG thread though so while I would like to see a Martok and a Weyoun specifically (best left for the DS9 thread) when it comes to Klingons Gowron could serve dual purpose though his costuming changed between his TNG appearances (I think) and he definitely sported a slightly different look for DS9.

I imagine Duras had too little (even if it was memorable) screen time but I wonder whether we might see Kurn to join Worf as the sons of Mogh.

Nice! I didn’t know that.

The Duras Sisters are kind of a TNG staple villain but not sure I’d spend $500 on them.

Nanjin has expressed surprise more than once about sales numbers and/or fan requested figures. I wouldn't rule out any characters just yet.
At the very least, let me dream. ;)
Personally any variation of Jeffrey Combs will be welcome, Weyoun is a must in my DS9 setup (Im going to get hate for this but if I could only get 1 between Weyoun and Dukat I'd pick Weyoun) and Shran is essential for the Enterprise line up.

Some of my favourite episodes later on involved Quark, Nog and Rom so while I hope for all 3 of those (Nog has to follow his Uncle at least) a big part of those episodes was Combs appearance as Brunt.

I’ve already been fooled by Picard twice so nah. Unless I hear great things about season three. I expect it to take a final crap on TNG and mail the coffin lid fully shut.
I hear you, I didn’t even finish S2 but I’m somewhat optimistic for this season since Robert Meyer Burnett has openly endorsed it. He’s been an avid critic of the first two seasons so perhaps the new show runner got it right. I’ll tune in at least for an episode or two and see what the vibe is, after all this is the last hurrah for TNG. S1 and S2 wasn’t what anyone wanted, they should’ve given us the original cast from the beginning.

It’s going to be interesting to see how they explain an aged Lore. The Professor Moriarty reveal was a surprise. I was hoping to see the Ent-E one last time but it looks like the F is officially canon.

I wasn't super blown away by most of the trailer (almost feels like another Nemesis in tone), but the reveal of Moriarty and Lore was absolutely amazing, as they've always been my favorite villains from TNG.

And while I understand the criticisms of the previous seasons, I thought the show at least did a good job with Riker, Troi and Data, so I'm optimistic the same will happen here with the rest of the cast.
