I wish GT would issue separate bodies for more of their figures… I would have jumped at the chance to get a bunch of bodies with Zack and Cloud’s builds. Or at least ONE to use for alternate outfits…

Just a quick message, i received my Zack from Kit too, Perfect condition as always 0 damage.

As i thought my Zack's neck have a "problem" too

But i fix it in 5 seconds with Patafix (don't know it it's the same name in English)

Seriously guys, don't waste your time to try to pulled out the plug (and maybe damage the figure)
Just use patafix, there is nothing more easy and fast, and the head is perfectly fixed.

I didn't pose him yet, or change arms it's just to show you out of box ^^'
Besides, is it normal that it has the articulated arms and not the seamless arms out of the box? Cloud already had seamless arms.

Before to put seamless arms, I want to try to do a dynamic pose with the articulated arms while trying to hide the joints (if you have idea i take it )

And for the record, Zack's arms look a bit bigger than Cloud's, but I think we can use them of him
They all look great but I have to say Cloud still stands out. Face, hair, body type, outfit look perfect. Look at the tailoring on his pants!

He's here!!! So happy with it 😇 zack is one of my fave characters and he looks awesome 💜

Received my Zack today. Hope they get their QC right, I'm slightly disappointed in the amount of issues I received with Zack. The neck fix... I am trying to use sticky tac to adhere his head like the suggestion, but it's very... weak. His head will wobble and fall off if not careful. Everything his outfit touches, stains instantly. His neck, his armpit, and as soon as I switched his arm to the rubber one, stained. I'm very worried for AC Cloud now. His entire upper body is going to be stained black, and the removable sleeve will be useless as we'll all have to keep it on to hide the black stain marks everywhere. And this next problem is probably only exclusive to me, but on the seamless arms, there is a small piece of plastic around the metal joint. It keeps sliding off when trying to insert the arm, so I've turned to gluing it in place. Still working on trying to take the neck connector out as well, to no avail.

TL;DR
Happy to have him but dang. Problems everywhere

Sounds the chaos. Pun intended.
Man. It was so much work getting the connector out. I couldn't settle for the sticky tac method. I just absolutely destroyed the connector and replaced it with a spare I had. The glue for his arm is still drying so pardon the amputee Zack photo but yea, the neck is better now. Can't wait to take better photos soon.

Yeah, it was really glued in there on mine too. But the putty method I had no desire for either. If I was going to do it again, my approach would to leave the plug in the head. Instead extract the dumbbell connector in the body and elongate it by cutting it in half and pinning it back together. Or just finding a longer one.

Agreed, a much less invasive method I hadn't thought of. Thankully, I'm satisfied with him now, but it was a bit disheartening being so excited only to be confronted with problems right from the start. Still worried about the staining on AC Cloud, though. Does that bother anyone else? Like, on Zack, it's only areas that are covered by his shirt. Neck, armpits, and I'm sure all over his torso. For him, it doesn't matter, as his clothes hide those stains. But AC Cloud literally features a removable sleeve to showcase his bare arm, and that worries me. I prefer the look of his outfit with the sleeve, so I probably won't be removing it, but it feels like a useless feature if he's going to arrive with stained arms/body.

You can wash the arm though, and probably should after a while. Even regular Cloud, it wasn't long before the arms started feeling a bit icky. You can use powder to "fix" it but some may want to wash it after some months on display to rejuvenate it I guess.

Yes, true. I'm familiar with washing seamless bodies and cornstarching them for preservation, but the issue here is that there is an abundance of dye remaining in the clothing and it's transferring to the body and seamless arms. Just worries me for AC Cloud, is all. I haven't tried washing it out but I presume it's stained the material. Not trying to sound so pessimistic, I apologize for that. Very happy with Zack now that he's all fixed up! Photos tomorrow.

The idea is to use putty on the neck connector and push the head back down on it (hearing the 'pop' sound) so that it is secured and tight but now with a slight height added to it due to the extra material.

For dyed cloths, there's nothing much you can do except to wash them before fitting it to ensure all the extra color runs off. You can also probably apply some kind of cloth adhesive tape on the shirt to prevent the colors from rubbing off onto the body.

Welp. Guess I’m washing Zack’s shirt when he gets here. Thanks for the heads up!
No worries. Mine was stained upon arrival unfortunately, but seeing as he will never see light of day outside his familiar costume, there's no point for me to worry about it. Just thought I'd bring up my ever increasing worry for Cloud 😂

Very good point. This is what I do for my seamless dolls - I wrap the limbs in Saran wrap that will be covered by dark clothing, if the clothing isn't washed beforehand anyways. I must have messed up with the sticky tac idea, maybe I didn't put enough, but it resulted in a wobbly, insecure head. Happy with how he is now, though. So excited for more releases, we should see a new PO soon, no?

Zacks arrived

Probably gonna check him om the weekend cause just by looking, I can tell this one also have the neck problem

I'm planning to use some cotton

Can see why you're worried, but recall that GT are doing an extended test on the new Cloud body to ensure it doesn't tear or stain based on those images Walter provided, and the original marketing images claimed it's less susceptible to that on average. Besides that, I'm on the other end of the spectrum and prefer him without the sleeve, so overall I'm not overly concerned at the moment.

I’ve got a funny little work a round for the neck issue. I had a pack of googly eyes that are about 6mm wide and found that it’s mostly gotten rid of the struggling look. I was a little hesitant ripping the peg out or sticking something to the joint but this seems to have done the trick for me at least.
