The problem in my mind is the length. Longer rooted hair is pretty easy to manage and restyle if necessary. For this shorter and pretty specifically styled hair I am suspect of either A) how long it can keep that before loosening up and/or B) the challenges of restyling it to factory standard.

This is exactly my concern. I really don't want to have a high maintenance figure and have no experience with rooted hair. My understanding is that it would arrive prepared and I expect it would hold for a long time depending on the amount of handling or posing, but I have no way to qualify that.

I think if your worried about how to treat the rooted hair sculpt then there is no shame in getting the sculpted one imo. I think it's really about not pulling on it to much, limit the amount of touching the hair when posing if it's not being futz. With sculpted you don't have to worry about that thankfully.

The secret to rooted hair is that once you have it, and you do a touch up in case bits got flattened in the postage, then you leave it alone. Don't touch it. Have it in a display to minimiise build up of dust, then use a gentle air blow to remove surface dust every now and then. Apart from some strands of hair separating from humidity etc. it will stay how it's left. You've got no reason to touch it further and it will stay as it is.

If you're a person that likes to constantly touch and move and restyle then rooted probably isn't the best way to go, as unless you have experience in restyling with products etc. then rooted hair always looks worse than sculpted when it's been messed around with too much without proper styling.

But if you leave it alone and just make minor tweaks with tweezers etc. to layer the hair when it arrives to you and puff it a bit then it will look better than sculpted.

Think I'm going to go for the Premium but Bats only, no Wayne or batsignal. As good as the Wayne figure looks, I can't think of any other pose I'd put him in other than what they show of him holding his valet tip money

Finally placed my pre-order with Kit. Decided on the premium version of Batman in the end. As great as the BW figure is it's not something I really need.

If InArt do make the Batmobile I'll likely pick up a separate standard Batman.

Honestly, I feel like if they did a Catwoman/Selina two-pack with her hostess or Year One bustier look, you could probably come up with some interesting thematic displays playing with the duality of their characters and the Yin and Yang of their backgrounds. It’s a weird one because I like the figure, I ordered the All-In, but it’s one of those cases like JND where I feel like, looking at the plot of the movie and the themes, it was a misstep to do this Bruce over the Drifter version.

The whole movie was about how he didn’t want to be the guy at the funeral and, ultimately, how dangerous it is to be driven by obsession to the point of extremism. Likewise, while none of us know what, if anything InArt will do with this line in terms of other characters, I feel like Drifter Bruce would’ve made for an interesting visual counterbalance if they did a Riddler figure. If they did a two-pack with Ed in his Arkham inpatient uniform and Riddler, I could see that making for a really cool display. Batman with the unmasked Ave Maria Edward echoing that “Bruce Wayne” moment and Riddler and Drifter Bruce almost acting as like visual counterpoints to one and other with their dirty, bulky military surplus get-ups.

Yeah debated a while which set to get, just went all in.

Curious about OSK though, how does their reward point system even work? Do you just gets points on the deposit? I've noticed I never got anymore points after paying in full when they ship.

That would be a good display if I wanted a Selina Kyle but if InArt does make her, I'd just want the Catwoman look.

I believe you get all your RPs as soon as you place your order regardless if you pay in full or the deposit. Looking at my account, I have the 515 points from InArt Gandalf and the 1096 points for the "all-in" set of TDK Joker.
