Doesnt look like they upgraded either. If its a recast, Im expecting it to be even smaller than the Hot Toys one.

Yeah, if they haven’t fixed the proportions then this is only good for anyone who’s desperate for a Drax asap and doesn’t want to pay the big secondary market prices.

They are. Thats why I said itll be smaller than Hot Toys.

Yeah now if only I didnt pass on Gamora as I was really put off by rooted hair. Heres hoping for a vol.3 version

Yeah I can understand why a person who doesn’t care for rooted hair would not buy that Gamora figure. But I have to say that IMO that recent Gamora figure is fantastic! The headsculpt and clothes are excellent and I think her rooted hair is among the best I have ever seen from Hot Toys.

Yeah it was only up for a couple of weeks. Might have to wait until its released before it goes back up

I managed to get in the pre-order but I was curious when it disappeared. Matter of waiting for release now I guess.

That's how the osk site works generally, when something is sold out even as a pre-order the page gets taken offline completely, instead of showing as sold out. It might show up again after release if there are extra units available, but a lot of pages just come and go pretty quick

I guess will need to see how this turns out and try to get one at release. Surely Hot Toys will also release another for GotG3. They posted the trailer, so I guess that's a good sign. Drax and Mantis at minimum I'd say.

Mantis prototype has been shown multiple times, so just waiting for GotG 3 I'd say. Probably another larger Groot as well I guess.

I wonder when we will start seeing this released. I’ve given up on HT doing their GOTG V3 Drax, I imagine Nebula pre-orders weren’t too great.

I take it no info then. Official release timing is Q2 2023 I believe. So can't be too far away......
