He consistently said it’s going to be green, it was just at Mission Chicago someone gave him some information that the shade they were using was slightly off.

Nanjin posted this information on his Facebook page:
Look at this phenomenon yourself. I purposely left this color differences with the picture. All because of 2 inches lighting distance differences between them.
This is the uniqueness of Trek color choices. They are extremely sensitive to light intensities.
EXO-6 wants to show this to the collectors that's why we went through all these troubles.

I have less than zero interest in Facebook - so haven't seen any of this.

I DO know it's a cesspool though, so l can't say I'm surprised . . . high-volume groups are often barely moderated.

I'll stick to here and the other forums I frequent, and hope Nanjin can find a way to ignore the idiots.

Another alternative would be him getting some folks to moderate the groups and drop-kick anyone intent on causing trouble (he should hire some of the staff from here :) )

IMO all forms of social media are horrid and the world would be better off without it. Looking back at “simpler times” in the 90s, I don’t recall seeing all this political division, us vs. them rhetoric, false narratives, etc - at least not to the extent that we see it today. I feel for these youth that get all caught up in it.

Those who are envious of one’s accomplishments tend to be those who publicly and consistently put someone else down. Nanjin has accomplished a lot.

As much as I like the idea of them I’m kind of thinking of ditching the transporter pad bases. Their shape kind of makes them take up a chunk of shelf space and waste a lot of the shelf. Anyone else have their figures displayed differently?

Will there be a DS9 (or First Contact) Worf at some point? He could be a big decider for me if I buy any Star Trek figures. Worf kicked ass once they got into that era. I think I'd find it hard to pass on a quality figure of him. And of course, from there I'd probably have to get some others. Kirk (TMP/TWOK) looks great for one. And Seven of Nine is a temptress.

If they do a DS9 Worf, I hope it's with hair down instead of that girly ponytail !

Has anyone received their presale email from EXO-6 announcing when TMP Kirk and Spock will be available yet ?

Pretty sure it hasn’t been officially announced. Looks like Chakotay is up next, but Nanjin alluded to more than one release coming soon. So who knows.

:lol

That was a warrior's ponytail. Only Worf could pull it off.

And it was how he looked most of the time so that's really what the figure needs to be.

Oh yeah - it's obvious what the figure will look like.

But between his ponytail and his beauty-contestant sash, it never suited the character/personality as far as I was concerned. Could have been worse I suppose - could have been a Klingon-bun :)

I prefer him with his "metalhead" looks (go figure).

Yeah I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with them as well. I've tried to double up some of the figures but it's still not ideal. But at the same time I don't want to go without a stand and risk having them fall, so maybe I need to create a large custom stand that I can fit multiple figures on and space out appropriately.

Unfortunately I'm far too short on space these days to only have a few figures on each shelf the way I used to.

I took Janeway and The Doctor off their bases and they’re standing free just as a test. I’ll see if they fall over.. maybe I’ll come up with some alternative or look into options.

Not sure if I love this, but it kinda works. I can fit five across on my shelf and I have the second and fourth bases stacked on the first and third and the third and fifth to save some space and fit more across.

I kinda wish the stands were just square or rectangular.
